Apartment in the Cancun Hotel Zone

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Calle del Pescador, Cancún, Quintana Roo 77500, Mexico

The Space

The apartment I am renting is gorgeous; it has a dining room / living room area with a sofa that can be used as a bed for a 3rd or 4rd person, a fully equipped Kitchen; fridge, stove with oven, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and all the amenities you may need for cooking are at your disposal.

The apartment has one private bedroom with a full size bed. The bedroom has several build in closets with plenty of storage space, also inside the bedroom a big bathroom with a huge shower. If you want to use the apartment for more than 3 people we can change the sofa for another bed, so instead of a living room you will get an extra bedroom.

The quality of the place is excellent, beautiful furniture, air conditioned, wireless internet, flat screen TV with cable.

It’s really a very beautiful, safe, quiet and private place, with a wonderful garden with a private pool, a small canal beach, a Zen deck and a lovely gazebo right in the canal.
This apartment is not inside my house is a private apartment with its own door and key. It is located next to my house, in the condo where I live; a horizontal condo of only 10 houses, most or the houses are empty; only rarely used during Christmas and summer school vacations, the few neighbors that live here in Cancun including us, almost never use the pool or the garden, you will have those areas mostly to yourselves.

You also will have keys and full access to my home; I have a fully equipped Kitchen. Big fridge with Ice maker (from bottled water), double wall oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and all the amenities you may need for cooking there are also at your disposal. I have a brand new gas grill you can use if you want to cook outside in the garden. On the main floor is the kitchen, laundry room, service room, breakfast room, dining room, one full bathroom, a bar and the main living room; (feel free to enjoy all the areas in the main floor of my home).

The rent includes a full breakfast (eggs, fruit, fruit juice, bread, quesadillas, milk and coffee); a maid that can clean the apartment everyday if you want (before 1pm except Sunday), and clean sheets and towels once a week. All the supplies you may expect to find in a hotel are included (like shampoo and conditioner, soap, toilet paper, napkins, and tissues. We only drink bottled water; every week I buy lots of 5-gallon water bottles, we always have one bottle in a dispenser in the kitchen for lukewarm water ( for refilling bottles, cooking and coffee), and we also connect these bottles to the fridge pump, so the cool water and ice cubes are also from bottled water.

I have 3 private parking spots in the house if you want to park a car.

Location: Cancun's hotel zone is the most exclusive and beautiful place in México, a single main boulevard with the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other side, with markers on each kilometer: we are on kilometer number 4; in the heart of the hotel zone but only 8 minutes away from downtown Cancun and the biggest local mall. supermarkets like Wall mart, Sam´s Club or Costco are 12 minutes away, is really super easy to get here either if you are driving or taking a cab or a Bus you won’t have a problem finding us. The Bus Stop is one minute away walking; the boat to Isla Mujeres is just across the street.

Cancun's hotel zone (Kukulcan Boulevard) is only 12 miles long and its full of restaurants, malls, discos and hotels, and no matter what area of the hotel zone you choose to stay you need transportation to get around but fortunately, transportation is easy; 24 hours a day the buses run, you never wait more than a minute, and costs under a dollar each time you board (half of the buses are air conditioned), taxis are everywhere and are very cheap also, and if you are a fitness fan we have a beautiful running/biking track that runs all along the boulevard.

My place is right on the Hotel Zone, if you look at a map of Cancun you will notice that the Hotel Zone is a thin strip of land; with the lagoon on one side and the ocean on the other side, the beach is everywhere, all the Beaches in Mexico are public, and there are several entrances between the hotels to get there, you can get to the beach from my house just by crossing the Boulevard and walking straight in to it, I am on the Km # 4, a lot of my guests like also to go to spend one day at the beach in Isla Mujeres, because it has a nice pueblo vive; Isla Mujeres is an old city founded in 1850, by pirates and Mayas running away from the cruel War of Castes. Is a very small island and its located just in front of my house, (it has amazing snorkeling sites also). The boat (Embarcadero Isla Mujeres Ultramar) is just across the street, is $15us round trip, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the island, it’s a nice boat ride.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

  • The apartment was great and was what we expected based on the description. The breakfast was a nice touch.

  • Carmen and Eli have a beautiful little studio very near the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The room was clean, the breakfast was wonderful, the pool and zen deck are an awesome quiet place to hang away from the other tourists. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked. The neighborhood was very safe....would definitely stay here again!

  • Flight plans changed and new flight was delayed and checkin was still a breeze no waiting time for keys. The pool area is so pretty and peaceful. I stayed in the private apt it had good spacing will sleep 3 comfortably as the couch is a futon. Typical tropical things like mosquitos bought house spray at the calypso hotel store handled the issue and cool water not hot for showers. The bus is 5 min walk they run frequently and in 10 mins u are at the busy bar n club scene. Breakfast was always on time at your request. The calypso hotel restaurant has good food and cheaper than the tourist area. Getting lunch and having it on the property at the gazebo is great. The host were very friendly and accommodating. First time staying off the main hotel zone area was safe for women alone to catch bus late night.

  • Beautiful apartment in Cancun. Located in the hotel zone between downtown and the nightclub/restaurant strip. It's a 3 minute walk from the ferry and beaches. Theres also access to a private pool and lagoon. Ellie greeted us with a delicious breakfast every morning. Thank you Carmen! We had a great time.

  • The apartment is Ok if you are there for a day or 2, we were there 10 days....our experience was positive due to the helpfulness of Carmen and Eli. They are really great at doing the best to provide customer service. My suggestion is Carmen's suite for a longer stay...family is great.

I love living in this house is so beautiful and peaceful. Is right in the turquoise hotel zone, yet so close to downtown Cancun (8 minutes) that doing all my daily chores there is a breeze. I especially love watching the sunsets in the lagoon every day, you won’t believe how the sky gets neon pink and deep purple ...it’s breathtaking!!! I want all my guests to have a great time, to be happy here and to feel what is like to breathe, eat, live, love and touch the real México. I want my guests to go home and tell all their friends about my place, and I want them to come back, oh! And to give me great evaluations ;) …and for all this reasons I assure you that I will do everything to be the best host ever!!! =)
