In a diverse neighborhood within an easy walk of Buffalo's best and most historic neighborhoods including Millionaire's Row, Olmsted Parks, Forest Lawn Cemetery, museums, chic shopping district, great restaurants, with easy access to public transportation, 5-10 minutes from downtown by car. This 100 year old arts and crafts house was designed by one of Buffalo's leading architects at the time. Personal tours of the area are available as well as transportation to/from downtown, airport, bus or train station.
Free parking is easily available on the street for guests.
This is our home, so we'll be in and out. We have one other guest room, so there may or may not be other guests in the home when you are here.
The bathroom is shared and we do our best to plan our use around your schedule. Your hosts all go to work or school in the morning but we've never had a problem coordinating our bathroom use with our guests' needs.
The BnB is 16 year-old Marivi's business. John, her Dad, helps with booking and communication but she does the work. The income goes to support her many artistic and academic activities that Mom and Dad can't afford on top of her private school tuition. She takes her role as the business owner and innkeeper very seriously and is committed to making your experience in Buffalo the best it can possibly be.
We live in a very diverse, friendly neighborhood centrally located near many different city attractions including Elmwood Village, Delaware Park, Delaware Avenue, and ten minutes via car from Downtown.
Please note: always include the ZIP CODE (14209) when entering the address into a GPS to take you to our home. Without the zip code, you will end up at the wrong address in a neighborhood not as nice as ours!

I love these folks!! This was my second time staying and I feel like family now :) Lovely place to stay with awesome people. ...what more can you ask for?
Marivi and John's was the cutest house! My husband and I loved staying there. He was worried about sharing a bathroom, but that was never a problem. They kept things very organized. We really enjoyed getting to talk to the family about the Buffalo area. They had great suggestions on where to eat or shop. If we needed a place to stay, we would definitely go back!
This was an easy, affordable and definitely do again stay. Hosts were great. We stayed in the Paris Room which was super cute. Bed was firm which is perfect for me. The shared bathroom turned out to be no problem at all. Parking on the street wasn't difficult. I would highly recommend!
The room was just as described. I found it very clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was not an issue. I coordinated the time I needed to get ready with Marivi the night before. Unfortunately this was a brief stay this trip for me, but I would definitely recommend and come back myself!
Loved my room! John was so nice :)
Thank you JOHN
It was nice that there was an info sheet for me to refer to with any questions that I may had. Bed was comfy and the room decor was beautiful! Can't wait for my next stay :)
Even though we only stayed for 1 night our stay was pleasant. The room was clean, organized and as described. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. John was very nice and always seemed to be available in case we needed any help. I wish I could've had the chance to chat a little bit more since I enjoy speaking with my hosts but if I ever come back to the buffalo area this place will surely be my first choice, thanks for everything John

I am 17 years old. I was Miss New York Junior Teen in 2012, USA National Miss New York Teen and Miss New York High School in 2014 . I am currently beginning local competitions in the Miss America system.
My parents allow me to use our family home for my AirBnB business. I use the proceeds of the business to help pay my expenses at a private girls' prep school, where I am an honor student, to fund my pageant activities as well as modeling and acting endeavors, and more.
I've been told I'm AirBnB's youngest host. I've been doing this for more than three years now. There is a large portrait of me and a few other interesting hosts hanging in the new AirBnB headquarters in San Francisco. My profile photo is one of the pictures that was taken during the photoshoot for this portrait.
My father, John Howell, has a little business on the side giving private insider tours of Buffalo. His fees for all of this are reasonable and he knows a lot about Buffalo's history and factoids you'd like to know. He charges a cash fee for these services.
Dad and I also offer transportation to guests when our schedules allow. Our fees for transportation are a little less than taxi cab fare, and you don't have to tip us. Many of our guests traveling by air, train, or bus, have appreciated the convenience of our help with rides to and from the airport, train stations or bus terminal. We are also often asked to take guests to Niagara Falls.
My father is also a novelist, and you can get an autographed copy of one of his books if you want one.
