In a diverse neighborhood within an easy walk of Buffalo's best and most historic neighborhoods including Millionaire's Row, Olmsted Parks, Forest Lawn Cemetery, museums, chic shopping district, great restaurants, with easy access to public transportation, 5-10 minutes from downtown by car. This 100 year old arts and crafts house was designed by one of Buffalo's leading architects at the time. Personal tours of the area are available as well as transportation to/from downtown, airport, bus or train station.
Free parking is easily available on the street for guests.
This is our home, so we'll be in and out. We have one other guest room, so there may or may not be other guests in the home when you are here.
The bathroom is shared and we do our best to plan our use around your schedule. Your hosts all go to work or school in the morning but we've never had a problem coordinating our bathroom use with our guests' needs.
The BnB is 16 year-old Marivi's business. John, her Dad, helps with booking and communication but she does the work. The income goes to support her many artistic and academic activities that Mom and Dad can't afford on top of her private school tuition. She takes her role as the business owner and innkeeper very seriously and is committed to making your experience in Buffalo the best it can possibly be.
We live in a very diverse, friendly neighborhood centrally located near many different city attractions including Elmwood Village, Delaware Park, Delaware Avenue, and ten minutes via car from Downtown.
Please note: always include the ZIP CODE (14209) when entering the address into a GPS to take you to our home. Without the zip code, you will end up at the wrong address in a neighborhood not as nice as ours!

I fell asleep entire afternoon in the warm, cozy and comfortable room, nice host and quiet.整段旅行在这家睡得最足，暖洋洋的房间在寒冷的水牛城分外舒服。
We had a nice time in the Paris room. Our hosts were very easy going, gave good information and just did their own thing, so you did not feel socially obliged to take part in anything, which is great after a long journey. We left a bit later and also left our bags there during the day and it was all no problem for them.
Listing was accurate. Met Marivi briefly, and she seemed nice and acted professionally. She was also flexible with a late arrival. Fairly convenient to the expressway, and appropriately priced. I would stay here again.
A few small issues with the place (ie bathroom door does not lock), but overall I was happy with my experience.
Sometimes people comment about the lack of a lock on doors. Remember, this is a family home, not a hotel. You will find the same accommodations you might find if you stay in the home of a friend or relative (and hopefully as great a welcome). The rules here are if the doors are closed, no one enters. It's never a problem.
This house was in a great area with street parking, close to Elmwood village area. Marivi was an accommodating and attentive host. This place was more of a hostel style arrangement with close quarters, one bathroom for everyone (including family) and limited privacy. In addition, perhaps concerningly, the doorknobs in the house didn't work. Our room door only closed when locked from the inside, and the bathroom door didn't lock and we kept getting trapped in the bathroom unable to get the door to open. I wish the duvet had a cover on it. I didn't like that my body was touching a duvet that probably wasn't cleaned. That being said, the room was nice, clean, and the bed was super comfy. Great neighbourhood.
I love these folks!! This was my second time staying and I feel like family now :) Lovely place to stay with awesome people. ...what more can you ask for?
Beautiful house with sweet room, location is good with some cafe around their house, Marivi is kind that she shows every details to us. Unfortunately they has two rooms for rent but only with one toilet！ We totally have 7 person share one toilet (with their family), inconvenient！And you need to pay if you want to use kitchen (check in less 3 night)
Marivi and John's was the cutest house! My husband and I loved staying there. He was worried about sharing a bathroom, but that was never a problem. They kept things very organized. We really enjoyed getting to talk to the family about the Buffalo area. They had great suggestions on where to eat or shop. If we needed a place to stay, we would definitely go back!

I am 17 years old. I was Miss New York Junior Teen in 2012, USA National Miss New York Teen and Miss New York High School in 2014 . I am currently beginning local competitions in the Miss America system.
My parents allow me to use our family home for my AirBnB business. I use the proceeds of the business to help pay my expenses at a private girls' prep school, where I am an honor student, to fund my pageant activities as well as modeling and acting endeavors, and more.
I've been told I'm AirBnB's youngest host. I've been doing this for more than three years now. There is a large portrait of me and a few other interesting hosts hanging in the new AirBnB headquarters in San Francisco. My profile photo is one of the pictures that was taken during the photoshoot for this portrait.
My father, John Howell, has a little business on the side giving private insider tours of Buffalo. His fees for all of this are reasonable and he knows a lot about Buffalo's history and factoids you'd like to know. He charges a cash fee for these services.
Dad and I also offer transportation to guests when our schedules allow. Our fees for transportation are a little less than taxi cab fare, and you don't have to tip us. Many of our guests traveling by air, train, or bus, have appreciated the convenience of our help with rides to and from the airport, train stations or bus terminal. We are also often asked to take guests to Niagara Falls.
My father is also a novelist, and you can get an autographed copy of one of his books if you want one.
