This is our home, so we'll be in and out. We have one other guest room, so there may or may not be other guests in the home when you are here.
The bathroom is shared and we do our best to plan our use around your schedule. Your hosts all go to work or school in the morning but we've never had a problem coordinating our bathroom use with our guests' needs.
The BnB is 16 year-old Marivi's business. John, her Dad, helps with booking and communication but she does the work. The income goes to support her many artistic and academic activities that Mom and Dad can't afford on top of her private school tuition. She takes her role as the business owner and innkeeper very seriously and is committed to making your experience in Buffalo the best it can possibly be.
We live in a very diverse, friendly neighborhood centrally located near many different city attractions including Elmwood Village, Delaware Park, Delaware Avenue, and ten minutes via car from Downtown.
Please note: always include the ZIP CODE (14209) when entering the address into a GPS to take you to our home. Without the zip code, you will end up at the wrong address in a neighborhood not as nice as ours!

John is an awesome host. He is very Helpful and attentive to any needs that I had while I was visiting Buffallo. The house is very clean and nice close to everything and I would recommend to anyone who like to visit Buffallo.
The room was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I decided to take a drive to Buffalo for valentine's weekend. The house was very quiet, room was warm, and the bedroom was clean and classy. As soon as I arrived I sat down on the bed and had to absolutely take a nap because of how comfortable it was. I am a diagnosed insomniac, but I slept like a baby later that night. Absolutely no noise, no outside noise, no car noise either. I would rather stay in this room than a 5 star hotel, it was very convenient and I was happy with our stay.
The hosts are also very nice. I asked them questions about Buffalo and about some recommendations on where to get food and he was very good with sharing his opinion and telling us where to go.
The house is also very close to all the attractions. Super close to all the restaurants and bars nearby as well.
Marivi and John were great hosts! They welcomed us when we arrived and kindly showed us to our room. They were friendly and made us feel at home. The room was warm and clean. Thanks Marivi and John!
Proximity to downtown was probably the best part of the experience. Also the room and bathroom were quite clean, n8ce shower, and Marivi had clean razors, soaps and shampoos. Negatives were the room was tiny, no dresser and the closet was very small--very few options for putting clothes away. Ended up living out of the suitcase. Sharing one bathroom with the family which didn't have a lock wasn't optimal. Also the walls were so thin we could easily hear their other guests.
It is my first time I chose family hotel. A wonderful experience. John helped us a lot. He provide us transportation a reasonable price. Room is clean and tidy also quiet. We like it.
Great Stay at with Marivi and John. Great location in a historic home. Awesome room. Nice folks. I will stay again the next time I am in town.
Marivi and Joseph were very friendly. The room was clean and neat and we enjoyed those couple days that we stayed in their big house.
Marivi being a very young host is very professional and organized and pays attention to the details.

I am 17 years old. I was Miss New York Junior Teen in 2012, USA National Miss New York Teen and Miss New York High School in 2014 . I am currently beginning local competitions in the Miss America system.
My parents allow me to use our family home for my AirBnB business. I use the proceeds of the business to help pay my expenses at a private girls' prep school, where I am an honor student, to fund my pageant activities as well as modeling and acting endeavors, and more.
I've been told I'm AirBnB's youngest host. I've been doing this for more than three years now. There is a large portrait of me and a few other interesting hosts hanging in the new AirBnB headquarters in San Francisco. My profile photo is one of the pictures that was taken during the photoshoot for this portrait.
My father, John Howell, has a little business on the side giving private insider tours of Buffalo. His fees for all of this are reasonable and he knows a lot about Buffalo's history and factoids you'd like to know. He charges a cash fee for these services.
Dad and I also offer transportation to guests when our schedules allow. Our fees for transportation are a little less than taxi cab fare, and you don't have to tip us. Many of our guests traveling by air, train, or bus, have appreciated the convenience of our help with rides to and from the airport, train stations or bus terminal. We are also often asked to take guests to Niagara Falls.
My father is also a novelist, and you can get an autographed copy of one of his books if you want one.
