Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Lovely home, precisely as advertised and with every convenience at hand. Our hosts were gracious, helpful, and communicated their requirements and expectations very well. We even followed their recommendations on nearby restaurants and were well pleased. This was our first experience with AirBNB and I'm extending special thanks to Julie and her husband for making it such a positive one.

The home is as attractive as the photos, everything was in good working order, and the decor was unique and tasteful. 6 thumbs up on this choice Atlanta accommodation.

  • Julie was incredibly easy to communicate with from beginning to end. Her instructions for getting into the house and navigating its ins and outs while we were there were incredibly helpful (and hospitable). I stayed with six other guests over a wedding weekend, and the space couldn't have been more perfect. She set up an elevated air mattress in one of the bedrooms while the other two had comfortable queens for guests. Our last guest slept on the plush couch, which Julie was gracious enough to provide bedding for. The kitchen was spacious enough for us to eat breakfast and snacks and the bathrooms were well-appointed with towels. The location in Edgewood was easy to get to from downtown Atlanta and had easy access to the freeway. Overall, I can't recommend a stay at Julie's anymore.

  • Pre-trip Julie was very helpful. She worked with us making arrangements for bringing our dog plus had several great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Atlanta. Her home was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. All was as described. The neighborhood was good and safe for walking the dog. Although we didn't meet face to face, Julie was very accommodating in every way. We all had a great time in Atlanta! Thanks, Julie!

  • Julie and her husband were perfect hosts. Easy communication regarding key handoff, a well-stocked refrigerator, and most importantly, a beautiful and spacious home. I had three of my friends stay with them during a vacation and it worked wonderfully. Thanks Julie!

  • Julie and husband are very down to earth and humble people plus they have a beautiful baby. Their house was very spacious, modern and well decorated. I actually thought the home looked better than the pictures. My family and I felt at home and the Netflix movies were right on time. I was in Atlanta attending a funeral so staying in a hotel was not an ideal option, however Julie and her family really made our weekend, couldn't ask for a better location. Thanks Julie!

  • The Bunglaow is in the up and coming Kirkwood neighborhood, and is a great location for easy access to all that Atlanta has to offer. It was kind of fun to learn that one of my husband's college friends lives two streets over.

The house is nicely updated and Julie had the fridge stocked for us - she even asked us what we liked for breakfast and provided more than what we requested. The kids devoured the fresh raspberries and vanilla yogurt. They also loved Julie's cats and were constantly asking to feed them - don't worry Julie, we only fed them once a day!

After we left, I realized that we had forgotton our kids' Leapfrog videos. I texted Julie about it and she graciously agreed to mail them to us (I PayPal's the shipping costs).

The three bedrooms worked perfectly for our family of six plus friend/helper. It was a great home base for our excursions around the city.

  • We are super excited to tell our experience at Julie's place in Atlanta. The pictures are very accurate, the house was very neat and clean, and everything promised in the listing was delivered.

The house is in a great spot. It sits about 1 mile from the Candler Park MARTA station, and just short of that from I-20. So it was a quick trip into downtown Atlanta for events at the Georgia Dome and to Turner Field.

Julie provided contact information in the event of any problems, but fortunately we didn't have any. There was breakfast food in the fridge, towels and bath products for our shower needs, and Julie even left a couple cans of bug spray in case we chose to spend an evening on the spacious back porch. We felt at home in her place and look forward to using it again in the near future.

  • Perfect home and location for our Atlanta visit! Julie's home is ideally located less than ten minutes from downtown Atlanta. It is also close to a Publix grocery store and nice golf course. The home has a secure, fenced yard for guests with pets, and we also enjoyed walking our goldens and admiring the neighborhood. The home is nicely appointed with anything you might need during your stay. Overall, we would describe it as cozy, comfortable, clean and chic. Julie was also very prompt in communicating with us. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

I'm a proud homeowner...who loves to travel! Some of my favorite places are Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Costa Rica, the Caribbean or anywhere with a good far I've traveled to 15 countries and am always looking forward to the next adventure! While at home, I love to cook, garden, relax outside, entertain, do yoga and snuggle up on the couch with a good book or movie. While on vacation, I love to try local cuisine, swim, ski, hike, explore neighborhoods, and try to fit in with the locals as much as possible. I have used Airbnb since 2010 when traveling - I love staying in a comfortable place with more amenities and a lower price tag than a hotel, and I like that it allows me to live more like a local which always seems to enhance my traveling experience. My husband and I put our house in Atlanta up as a rental on Airbnb in April 2012 after having such great experiences using it while we traveled. We've had nothing but positive experiences so far, and look forward to many more great guests using our house in the future. We plan on making our new home in Charleston a top Airbnb home as well - once it's ready. We aim to make everyone's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Maybe even one day we'll run our own full-time B&B.... Cheers, Julie
