In the village of Maurach are two supermarkets, a bakery, two banks, hairdressers, jewellery shop, shoe shop, sports shops and a number of clothing shops. All can be reached in 10 minutes by foot. There are many restaurants and coffee shops. Atoll is a newly built swimming, recreation, wellness centre can be reached in 10 minutes by foot next to the lake. Swimming, kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing can all be done on the beautiful lake Achensee. The area is also great for mountain bike riding, rock climbing and hiking. There are three downhill skiing areas nearby, one which can be reached by foot. Two golf courses are located in close by villages of Pertissau and Achenkirch.

We are living in Austria since 2014 and finished building our traditional wood house in 2018 in beautiful Achensee in Tirol and finished our apartment in 2019. I love hiking in the area, swimming in the lake and cross country skiing. We also love travelling to different countries.
