About This Listing
This is a charming 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of San Francisco. Just 2 blocks away from the famous Fillmore Street (great shops and restaurants!!) and central to many other fun areas- the location cannot be beat! The apartment has a remodeled kitchen and bathroom, has a shabby-chic decor, and is perfect for 1 or 2 people looking to enjoy the wonderful city of San Francisco! The place is all yours while you stay.
The area offers:
*Fantastic restaurants and cafes (Out the Door, SPQR, Fresca, Woodhouse Grill, Elite Cafe, Florio, Le Boulange, Tortilla Heights, great sushi, etc).
* 2 blocks from the famous Sundance Kabuki movie theater where you can watch all new releases
* Mollie Stone and Safeway grocery stores are each 2 blocks away.
* There's a recreation center close by that has a small gym, basketball & tennis courts, pool, etc.
* Beautiful Alta Plaza park just four blocks away with views of the entire city, tennis courts and playground.
*MUNI bus transit going to most of the city a block away from the building (on Sutter and Geary). There is also plenty of parking in the neighborhood (just make sure to watch the signs for street cleaning!)
* 2 blocks from the UCSF hospital
Please note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor so you'll need to be OK walking up and down stairs.
There are a few rules, but they are strictly enforced:
Absolutely NO smoking!!!!!
No pets (sorry!)
No parties or loud noise as this is a very quiet area and we like to keep it that way.
The flat is really as nice as it looks in the pictures. It's in a good location - a quick bus journey to all the obvious bits of SF. if you go five minutes round the corner to the SFMTA kiosk at Geary and Presidio you can buy a 3 day or 7 day pass , which means you can jump on and off buses, and also trams, streetcars and everything else. The local bars and cinema a short walk away are all very nice as well. San Francisco. We drove into town in a hire car. As advised, there is free off-street parking available, but we did have to circle around for a while to find a free space, and you do need to pay attention to the signs.
We stayed at Post street one bedroom apt for our anniversary. We like the location . It is couple blocks from Japan town and many great restaurants , lounge and bars. Yet is it residential area . It is across from tennis court and couple blocks from Churches .
There is no garage , just street parking . It is free after 6 PM and on Sundays .
The bed is nice , the beddings is soft and comfortable , the bathroom is standard . Kitchen is well equipped. The building is Victorian style , three levels . Apt is located on the 3rd Floor .
Check in was smooth except for the Dial in for the gate did not work.
Great place to stay! Very clean, nice place. Close to everything
We had a great stay! The location is super central. There were great brunch places only a few blocks from the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We did not meet Elizabeth but she gave us helpful advice on getting around the city.
About the Host, Elizabeth
I'm new to San Francisco and finally living in the city of my dreams! In my free time, I'm usually cooking, traveling, skiing, wine tasting and running around SF events. I love to host guests and dinner parties!
I totally love my apartment and have made it really feel like home. Even though I enjoy my time in it, I am often staying with my boyfriend and my place is empty... so I decided to rent it out on this site as I love the idea and really enjoy sharing my home with people who would appreciate it!
