The surrounding neighborhood isn't quite safe, however you would never know that when staying with Kerry. The beds creak a little bit, but there was no noise from the outside. She called my car in for city parking (which was awesome) and my car was still safe and sound in the morning. But Kerry was a great person. It was a joy to stay there in her home.
I am not sure what Greg felt wasn't safe about the neighborhood. My family and I are comfortable walking and my grandchildren play outside. There has never been a car break-in during the ten years I have lived here.
Sorry you didn't feel it was quite safe, Greg.
I will check into the creaky beds! No one has mentioned that to me. Thanks.
Had a great stay at Kerry's place. Nice central location. The place was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
This was the third time that I have stayed with Kerry and as always, it was a wonderful stay. Kerry is friendly, kind and very helpful. Her house is warm and welcoming (very important since it was -6 when I was there). The neighborhood is quiet, clean and diverse. It is a great place to stay!
Kerry welcomed me into her home and even stayed up chatting while I ate a late night pizza. My stay was brief but I slept well and would stay here again! Kerry was a pleasant and gracious host. Even left me coffee in the morning!
The rumors are true! Kerry is an absolutely wonderful host--welcoming, friendly, helpful! She even offered to pick me up from downtown although I ended up not needing it. Kerry's home is absolutely comfortable and lovely, and very quiet. If you're without a car (as I was) the bus routes couldn't be more convenient. Can't say enough good things.
Kerry is incredibly thoughtful and friendly! She had an incredible binder of tips and guides about Milwaukee, and she tailored suggestions to my interests. She leant me a bike and when she found out I was riding at night, she had bike lights. When it started to rain, she had a bike fender! So considerate!
The immediate neighborhood is residential and very quiet, but it isn't far (especially by car or bike) to downtown and riverside attractions and restaurants.
Kerry was warm and welcoming and her home is comfortable and beautifully, artfully decorated. It was also a very easy drive from her home to the State Fair Park, where I was working. Her neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
