Interaction with Guests
I welcome personally my guests for the checking-in in order to give the information they need, or eventually special tips.
This neighborhood is particularly well connected with metro and bus. My guests are particularly happy to be in a quite street, with all local shops and restaurants around .. and beside the Eiffel Tower.
Regarding transportation, during the booking, I always give the information, which suits the best the needs of our guests.
Other Things to Note
I am enjoying a lot to host my guests. I started in 2012 thinking that I will proceed like when I have friends coming home. And it worked perfectly !
Guests should be aware that the building is a quiet one ; so is the neighborhood.
Martine was an excellent host who greeted us when we arrived, after first arranging for us to be picked up at the airport. Martine wellcomed us into her home and explained everything we needed to know, including where the best patisseries were. The flat was as described, beautiful and in a perfect location, great neighbourhood and 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, Close to trains, buses and shops. We would definately stay there again.
I stayed Martine's house with my sister. We had good time while we stayed here. Martine was very nice and kind. Also, when I had a problem, she was kind enough to help me.
The house was perfect and clean. The location was convenient.
I think everything was good.
If I visit Paris again, I'd like to stay Martine's house.
Was a fantastic experience living in the apartment . First off, the location is superb and very close to Eiffel Tower and the other locations . Secondly it's a very romantic and nice on the inside .
All to all, great hosts and a great stay.
Muchas gracias Martine
Martine greeted us on arrival at the apartment and gave us plenty of local knowledge before we embarked on our adventures around Paris.
There was the essentials in the fridge and cupboard. As we were travelling with a 1 year old, Martine even purchased some bottled water incase he wasn't drinking tap water yet.
Very clean apartment with a lovely feel. Close to Eiffel Tower.
I would certainly recommend Martine's apartment
About the Host, Martine
I have been living in this beautiful art deco building for over 20 years and have always enjoyed it. It is well-kept. The concierge is on duty from 7 am to 12 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm. The apartment is very quiet. It is perfect for a couple. There is a large desk if you have to work on your computer or do some writing.
The neighborhood is very nice : both safe and quiet, with a large choice of restaurants and cafés. Walking to the Champ de Mars and jogging or just hanging around there on a bench is always a treat at any time of the year. (You'll have Wifi in the park). There is a wonderful farmer's market nearby on Wednesdays and Sundays. You're 5 metro stops from Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 4 from Montparnasse and 4 from Etoile. You can cross the river and walk to the Trocadero, or stroll along the river to the Musée d'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, or to the new Quai Branly Museum. I'll be happy to provide information about local shops, restaurants and places of interest.
