Interaction with Guests
I welcome personally my guests for the checking-in in order to give the information they need, or eventually special tips.
This neighborhood is particularly well connected with metro and bus. My guests are particularly happy to be in a quite street, with all local shops and restaurants around .. and beside the Eiffel Tower.
Regarding transportation, during the booking, I always give the information, which suits the best the needs of our guests.
Other Things to Note
I am enjoying a lot to host my guests. I started in 2012 thinking that I will proceed like when I have friends coming home. And it worked perfectly !
Guests should be aware that the building is a quiet one ; so is the neighborhood.
Muchas gracias Martine
This is a good apartment in a nice location, I will recommend it.
Martine greeted us on arrival at the apartment and gave us plenty of local knowledge before we embarked on our adventures around Paris.
There was the essentials in the fridge and cupboard. As we were travelling with a 1 year old, Martine even purchased some bottled water incase he wasn't drinking tap water yet.
Very clean apartment with a lovely feel. Close to Eiffel Tower.
I would certainly recommend Martine's apartment
Martine's apartment is in a lovely neighborhood. She was very helpful and a gracious hostess. We would stay with her again.
Martine and Fabrice were amazing hosts. The apartment was just as described, very comfortable and extremely well located. The bed was comfortable, the apartment quiet and the furnishings were fantastic. It really feels like someone's home and has great character. The only thing to watch out for is that bathroom has a traditional bath tub and not a shower as you might be used to in the US. It was perfectly fine for us, but if you have trouble showering while holding the handle it might not be for you. Overall I'd strongly recommend staying here, it was a great experience and one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in.
The apartment was spotless, spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated with all the modern conveniences we needed. It was very close to all transportation, restaurants and shopping as well as being in a secure and quiet neighborhood.
Martine was extremely helpful with information about the city and even helped with reservations. She made us feel very welcome in her city. She speaks English, so that helped us a lot. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Paris!
Marine's apartment is really nice place and I'm pleased to recommend it to other people. Her flat is located near Eiffel tower and metro station. The neighborhood is good too. There are many good restaurants near the neighborhood and super markets are near the apartment. And she offered many tips so that we could stay there well with them.
It is clean as well as cozy. If I have chance to visit Paris again I would stay in Martine's apartment again.
About the Host, Martine
I have been living in this beautiful art deco building for over 20 years and have always enjoyed it. It is well-kept. The concierge is on duty from 7 am to 12 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm. The apartment is very quiet. It is perfect for a couple. There is a large desk if you have to work on your computer or do some writing.
The neighborhood is very nice : both safe and quiet, with a large choice of restaurants and cafés. Walking to the Champ de Mars and jogging or just hanging around there on a bench is always a treat at any time of the year. (You'll have Wifi in the park). There is a wonderful farmer's market nearby on Wednesdays and Sundays. You're 5 metro stops from Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 4 from Montparnasse and 4 from Etoile. You can cross the river and walk to the Trocadero, or stroll along the river to the Musée d'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, or to the new Quai Branly Museum. I'll be happy to provide information about local shops, restaurants and places of interest.
Une idée de dessert is the new boulangerie patisserie around the corner : high quality bread and all kind of traditional yet inventive pastries. My favorite is Le17. Charming people too .Rue Dupleix Paris 75015
