The second bedroom, although the smallest, is still a nice size double room with a traditional brass king size bed. It. A shower room with a large shower enclosure is just around the corner.

An ample corridor leads towards the third bedroom. Hosting a stunning Tudor fireplace (only decorative), this room has a queen bed with a beautiful mahogany antique headboard with matching bedside tables.

Further on, there are two connected rooms with an en-suite shower room, a children’s playroom with a 43” smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker, and adjacent, the children’s room with two single beds. In the entrance cupboard downstairs, there are also two travel cots free to use (bedding not provided).

A large family bathroom with both a bath and a shower can also be found on this floor.

There is a fifth bedroom and an en-suite bathroom located at the far end of the house, with direct access to it from the courtyard, instead of through the house. This makes a fantastic room for those wanting some time away from the rest of the group.

Where you’ll be

Edingthorpe, England, United Kingdom

Edingthorpe is a small, quiet village ten minutes away from the beach and from the market town of North Walsham. Edingthorpe is set in the lovely Norfolk countryside with few amenities: no pub or village shop for example, but it is that unspoilt charm that helps make it so appealing.

The hamlet has a beautiful Saxon church that stands almost hidden by trees on the northern edge of the village. We highly recommend visiting the inside of All Saints church too (door usually closed but not locked).

The house is surrounded by quiet lanes, so it is possible to walk to the church. There are also some paths closeby. One of the areas we like to go to walk Rufus is Bacton Woods. It is 20 minutes’ walk from Edingthorpe Hall, although you can also drive and leave the car in the car park.

Hello!

We completely fell in love with Norfolk when we first visited the area. So much that we bought a cottage near Cromer. Years later we found the most incredible place: Edingthorpe Hall.

We love hosting and sharing the hall with our guests. We can't think better place where to build long lasting memories.

Originally from Madrid (Spain), we have lived in the UK for over 25 years.

We currently live in Hertfordshire with our two children and pets.
