Steven welcomed us in full style! We had a great conversation around a cup of tea explaining us in detail the secrets of Fez. The medina house is gorgeous on its own right: delicate yet functional, we could have not felt any better. It is perfectly located in the heart of the medina and its location will help you to navigate the alleys almost like a local after a few strolls.
Summing up, fantastic house and fantastic host. Highly recommended to anyone!!
Steve is such a lovely host. We traveled from Chefchaouen to Fes via bus and Steve was kind enough to send a driver to pick us up at the bus station for a very minimal fee.
The Riad was clean and extremely beautiful with many unique art pieces. We enjoyed staying at Steve's Riad since he gave us so many wonderful information on where to dine and what to do and see. He also made us a fantastic breakfast spread in the morning. We opted for the room up in the terrace and it was private and so peaceful. It's nice sitting out on the terrace and listening to the sounds of the night. Steve even had his maid clean our room which was so nice and incredibly kind.
Fes is an interesting city and if we do ever come back we will most devotedly stay at Steve's Riad.
We had a really wonderful time staying at Steven's place. The house is so lovely and well situated within the medina. It is close to the Blue Gate and the two major streets that runs through the medina. It's like an oasis among the chaos of the medina. The house and room we had were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and filling with lots of variety. We were always asked if we wanted more. Steven was an excellent host. He answered all our emails promptly. He personally met us at a pre-arranged drop off point with our tour driver to take us to the house directly. Once at the house, he made gave us tea and yummy snacks and then spent a good 30 minutes going over a map of the medina showing us where the sites were and giving us suggestions for places to eat. Luckily, Steven was staying at the house for a couple of days so he was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. We would definitely recommend Steven's place if you are visiting Fes.
We had a lovely clean and comfortable room on the roof.
Steven is a great host and communication was easy. We were picked up on arrival at Fes which worked well as the many streets in the Medina can be confusing at first. Riad is tastefully decorated with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.
Steve wasn't at the Riad when we arrived so he had made arrangements for us to be met by Mohammed to show us the way through the narrow streets of Fes. And what a place to stay. In the heart of the Medina the Riad is a just perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and the use of the terrace with superb views across the Medina and out to the surrounding hills made this, our final stop in Morocco a great way to end our holiday.
Mohammed was great with simple bits of advice and help with a guide for half a day. Breakfast was excellent and the service and attention to detail from the housemaid was also spot on (thank you - sorry can't remember name).
We met Steve late Tuesday and he is an excellent host, warm, welcoming and some useful (further) help. All very relaxed and a genuinely terrific place to stay to visit Fes.
Thanks from all the Cooch family.
Steven organized the pick up service. We recommend it fully. The Riad's manager Mohammed always was friendly, kind and he arranged everything for us. The place is very clean and comfortable and tipycal Moroccan style, the breakfast is terrific. Riad is located in the Medina's heart to few meters from the Blue Gate and restaurants. Definitively we would stay there again.
Great place to stay in Fez. Couldn´t be more central. Steven got back to us really quickly and was very helpful. So was everyone at the house when we arrived. Lovely place, a wonderful stay with amazing breakfast, highly recommendable. Thank you for having us!
