Interested in something that is not "run of the mill"? Look no further... Voted the most mysterious house in Saint Paul by the Pioneer Press. The Manor has a large enclosed courtyard with a fire pit, picnic area, and off street parking. We are close to both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis, it is 10 miles from MSP International Airport.
Quaint and charming are some of the words used to describe this unique place. We have a wonderful doberman named Scorch and an amicable room mate that lives here as well. The Manor is in its last phase of reconstruction (kitchen) thus the affordable price.
We also book for larger day time events like weddings, ceremonies, rituals etc. for up to 75.
Sean and Scorch instantly made us feel welcome. The compound has its own time/space continuoum. It is as if it only exists for you. We stayed in the master suite. The bed was very cozy. The bathroom was incredable! (We used the showers...there are 2!) Sean even personalized our stay with wine and balloons for our belated Valentine's Day!
We were out late (nearly 3am) but had no trouble getting back in since we took the time to visit with them before we left. Scorch didnt even bark when we came in. The next morning, late, after a lovely sleep, she did come up to say hello, when she knew we were up. She is just too sweet!
We will absolutely stay again. If you are looking for a unique, welcoming, beautiful EXPERIENCE I recommend you do the same.
Sean was the perfect host. Wonderful, clean room in his home. We would stay again when in St. Paul.
Wonderful place, comfy bed, friendly hosts. We had a good stay and would recommend this to anyone!
Sean was a good host. He was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The place was clean and the room was great.
I also got to attend a ghost hunt... So if you believe in the afterworld, The Manor might be where you can witness paranormal activity, or enjoy the presence of Sean's adorable dog, Scorch.

My stay at The Manor was great! The bed was comfortable, I slept soundly all three nights, and Sean was an awesome host. His neighbor Monica also helped with the hosting while I was there and she was outstanding, too! It made for a very easy and relaxing trip for myself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend The Manor to others. Thanks for a great weekend Sean and Monica!
I truly enjoyed staying with Sean and Scorch twice during my trip to St. Paul.
My first AirBnB experience and it was great! Sean is accommodating, and even checked in when I ended up staying at a friend's place! I didn't get a chance to say thanks, so thanks Sean!
Also, the place's design is a little funny but not in any way that detracts from its comfort. I just don't understand if there's a logic to leather door frames! But hey, it's far more interesting than most places you'll stay!
Sean was the best host I can possibly imagine. He generously opened his home to the 19 artists who make up Rhinestone Gorilla Burlesque, dedicating a week of his life to preparing his home for our arrival by borrowing extra bedding and air mattresses and more to ensure that we would be comfortable. Throughout our entire stay, he was friendly, attentive, easy going, respectful, and entertaining, ensuring that we were always comfortable and at home in his magnificent Manor. He had space for all of us to sleep comfortably without piling on top of one another, with incredible outdoor space available for group meals and chats around the fire pit. Thanks to Sean, our tour was easy, fun, and stress-free. I cannot recommend him and the Manor highly enough, particularly for large groups. I can imagine nothing better.
Sean is an artist to the max! His home is in progress and unique, I had fun talking with him and being in his world for a couple if days. The bed was extremely comfortable, sheets were soft and clean. I will stay here again in the future. Sean goes above and beyond to make his guests feel comfortable and cared for. His dog is a lovely, smiley sweetheart.
