Interested in something that is not "run of the mill"? Look no further... Voted the most mysterious house in Saint Paul by the Pioneer Press. The Manor has a large enclosed courtyard with a fire pit, picnic area, and off street parking. We are close to both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis, it is 10 miles from MSP International Airport.
Quaint and charming are some of the words used to describe this unique place. We have a wonderful doberman named Scorch and an amicable room mate that lives here as well. The Manor is in its last phase of reconstruction (kitchen) thus the affordable price.
We also book for larger day time events like weddings, ceremonies, rituals etc. for up to 75.
Off street parking inside our compound
Clean and neat bedroom with fresh linens
Stand up or sit down shower and a whirlpool tub.
High speed internet
My vast experience with directions and fun places and exciting activities
I try to determine the right amount of interaction per guest. I like to chat and have stimulating discussion but also know when its time to get busy and get things done.
I live in a diverse neighborhood that is often busy and bustling but we have a compound that creates an inner sanctum, like a place out of time. It has been described as a country place hidden in the city.
Plenty of mass transit options, the bus line is only 1 1/2 blocks away and light rail is about to open up between Minneapolis and St Paul and is about 12 blocks from us.
I also offer airport pick up and/or drop off for $20 a trip. Other rides can be arranged as well according to my schedule.

Sean and Scorch were fantastic and thoughtful hosts. They made us feel right at home, and accommodated our crazy schedule. Sean even wiped our bikes down, and put them under cover while we were away when a storm hit. The house was a bit smaller than anticipated, but we pretty much had the entire upstairs to ourselves. It felt very private and quiet, and the upstairs area is finished in Sean's creative aesthetic. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the home, along with Sean's collections of curious oddities. The amazing bathroom is shared with the guest bedroom. We tried to be mindful of not monopolizing the bathroom, but it never seemed to be an issue the one night that both rooms were booked. We are excited for Sean's continued additions to the home, and can appreciate the passion he exudes towards his growing vision.
Sean's manor was truly one of a kind! The house is intricately detailed full of unique touches that all fit together so well. Sean himself is a gracious host, and has many cool stories to tell. I truly enjoyed my stay!
Definitely a cool place. Has a lot of character. Both Sean & Scorch were great hosts. My bed was super comfy. The room and bathroom were very clean. Sean has a lot of artistic talent and it shows in his house.
Scorch and Sean are great hosts. We love the property and can't wait till spring and when the twisted sisters are in bloom. Sean was good with our little change in our check in time. We loved hearing about the history and how Sean became the caretaker of The Manor. Being a St Paul kid we could talk for hours on my home town. Yeah I think this summer out by the fire would be great. The room was a great space. Growing up in an old house I felt so at home with some of the creeks and moans.
Sean and Scorch instantly made us feel welcome. The compound has its own time/space continuoum. It is as if it only exists for you. We stayed in the master suite. The bed was very cozy. The bathroom was incredable! (We used the showers...there are 2!) Sean even personalized our stay with wine and balloons for our belated Valentine's Day!
We were out late (nearly 3am) but had no trouble getting back in since we took the time to visit with them before we left. Scorch didnt even bark when we came in. The next morning, late, after a lovely sleep, she did come up to say hello, when she knew we were up. She is just too sweet!
We will absolutely stay again. If you are looking for a unique, welcoming, beautiful EXPERIENCE I recommend you do the same.
Sean was the perfect host. Wonderful, clean room in his home. We would stay again when in St. Paul.
Wonderful place, comfy bed, friendly hosts. We had a good stay and would recommend this to anyone!
Sean was a good host. He was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The place was clean and the room was great.
I also got to attend a ghost hunt... So if you believe in the afterworld, The Manor might be where you can witness paranormal activity, or enjoy the presence of Sean's adorable dog, Scorch.

My stay at The Manor was great! The bed was comfortable, I slept soundly all three nights, and Sean was an awesome host. His neighbor Monica also helped with the hosting while I was there and she was outstanding, too! It made for a very easy and relaxing trip for myself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend The Manor to others. Thanks for a great weekend Sean and Monica!
