My Apartment is located close to subway and buses. It is cozy and comfortable for travelers arriving in Buenos Aires and looking for the adventures, delights and mysteries of this city. The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, a very accessible area, considered at the present the heart of the city’s nightlife and home for avant-garde design, fashion and arts.
Palermo Viejo - also known as Palermo Soho, due to its similarities with the homonym neighborhood of New York City - a sprawling area with lots of shops and a vibrating cultural life. The neighborhood also hosts book stores, music stores and antiques, and decoration shops. A truly bohemian spirit blends with history in this neighborhood that once had Jorge Luis Borges as one of its most illustrious inhabitants. Palermo is also well known for its Arts Fair which shows the work of artist and artisans, a must for all visitors who wish to enjoy the artsy side of Buenos Aires. Its quiet streets, covered with paving stones and flanked by aging, leafy trees are filled with restaurants, bars and cafés, design and fashion stores, art galleries, where antique buildings merge with modern architecture.

An important fact for Tango lovers is that my apartment is very near most famous traditional milongas: Salon Canning, La Viruta, Villa Malcolm and has a comfortable location to get to other milongas as well. Palermo Viejo is a perfect starting point and equidistant from the most interesting places and activities Buenos Aires offers to curious travelers.

My main aim is to ensure that my guests enjoy their stay in the city and at home. Ether you travel for business, studies, vacation or to study and dance the tango, I trust your stay will be as pleasurable as can be

  • I had a great stay at Luba's. The apartment is very comfortable and located close to shops, restaurants and bars. Luba made me feel very at home and was very helpful with information about the city. Gracias Luba!

  • Pros: Super clean, great location, Air-Con in the room.

Cons: Not a social stay. If you're looking for a place to share a bottle of wine with the host/hostess, this is probably not your place.

Luba was a very gracious and kind host. The house is a bit eccentric - full of little trinkets and interesting photos.

There are multiple rooms in the apartment. Unfortunately, during the length of my stay, I was the only tenant. So, I did not meet anyone at the location.

A house-cleaner comes almost every day, so the place could not be more spotless.

Breakfast is basic - some toast, coffee, tang.

  • The apartment is in a very good location. Formme the best place to stay is Palermo. The room is comfortable. The house is generally clean as a cleaning lady comes almost daily. The only problem is the street is to much noisy as when i was there there was a carnaval.
And Luba Luba Luba !!! :) so nice person. İ feel like i m home here.

  • Luba's place is in the middle of Palermo, in a quiet street just a stroll away from bars, restaurants, markets etc. She's a great host that will answer all your questions with a smile and give you plenty of advices. Definitely recommended.

I am Luba, I live by myself and I rent rooms to guests from around the world. I have 2 children, Lara and Alexis. Lara lives in Buenos Aires and Alexis in Madrid. About my favorite activities, I like to dance Tango, I am keen on computers, specially about reading news on it, and I also like to chat, eat chocolates, drink coffee, go to restaurants, go to the movies and, travel (whenever I can). I also like to go shopping for clothes and shoes (whenever I can too!).
