Right in the very heart of Florence, at walking distance from major places of interest, my apartment is located in a historical building, overlooking tiny alleys with no traffic noise, thus providing a very peaceful and relaxing stay.
This is the ideal place to stay, the perfect solution to those traveling for pleasure and wishing to live in this charming city, even for very short periods, without having to forego the comforts of home.
Easy to reach from the central train station, yet situated at a comfortable walking distance from the main monuments and museums of the historical center.
In this exciting part of the city, though, you will also find plenty of shops, trendy bars and typical restaurants.
Suitable for 2-4 people, it consists of entrance, living room with double sofa-bed, kitchenette, toilet,1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Fully furnished and equipped with bed and table linen, bath towels, hairdryer, kitchenware, microwave, television, washing machine, air conditioning.
Please note that my rates include the following:
- Linens & bath towels
- Air conditioning/heating, electricity, water and kitchen gas
- Broadband WiFi internet connection
- Final cleaning
Other Things to Note
Please note that the flat is on the third floor of an historical building. As often the case in Florence, these old buildings ooze charm and personality, but lack facilities such as elevators. It is a bit of a climb, but I will have someone help you carry the luggage at check-in. I hope this doesn't constitute too much of an inconvenience for you.
Apt. LILY is the perfect hub to explore Firenze - very close to Ponte Vecchio and the Arno river, but in a solemn, surprisingly quiet street. A beautiful staircase up to third floor, maybe one step too much after a long evening in the wine bar next door, ends in a fairly spacy apartment with a wooden ceiling and lots of style. We (pair w 8 year old child) had an unforgettable time in Florence and that due in equal parts to the spectacular city, "our" house, and Roberto himself, who is the nicest host you could imagine, offering every advice you´d possibly need and really taking the time to make you feel welcome.
Roberto is a wonderful and helpful host. He helped us with the bags (heavy ones) was really nice, polite and friendly and took good care of us leaving special treats in the apartment! So thoughful!
The apartment has the perfect location in Firenze! Between Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. Really cosy and clean! I strongly recommend and want to come back there!
Very welcoming and friendly host. Flat well described and exactly what I was looking for.
Roberto welcomed us warmly to the apartment which is beautifully appointed and in a great quiet location central to lots of attractions
The separate additional toilet is really handy when there are more guests
Would definitely recommend this apartment
We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Roberto's Lily apartment, a spacious, clean, characterful and comfortable place. It is well equipped for preparing simple meals and there were some basic supplies in the kitchen. Even though it is very centrally situated (and Florence was buzzing with activity and New Year celebrations) the flat is quiet and peaceful. Roberto is very kind and charming. He left a gift of prosecco and panforte for us, helped us with restaurant recommendations and arranged a taxi for us on the morning we left.
Apt. Lily was fantastic. The apartment is located on a charming little street, right off a main street and a large plaza. It's very close to most of Florence's well-known sites such as the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. There are a lot of restaurants and boutiques in the area as well.
Despite being located on the fourth floor, it wasn't too bad to walk up and down the stairs each day - it made for a great daily exercise! The apartment was very clean and cozy (but surprisingly very large!). It was a great place to come back do after doing a bunch of site-seeing during the day. There is enough space for four people to sleep comfortably, 1.5 baths (which is nice if you're traveling with a family) and a small kitchen, which is sufficient (since I assume most people will be enjoying Florence's amazing restaurants!).
Our host, Roberto, was fantastic. He was very responsive to all of my emails and was able to greet us when we arrived. He was very helpful and kind - he sent us a great list of restaurants in the area and was able to help us call a taxi for our early morning departure.
I would definitely stay at this apartment again if I return to Florence!
This apartment is very nice. It is very central on a quiet street, which is perfect for walking everywhere in the city. We were there in November and I wish we had seen all the Christmas lights lit up!
The apartment itself is very spacious. It comes with useful amenities such as a washing machine and hairdryer, and the kitchen is stocked with oil, vinegar, and salt/spices if you wish to cook. There were some issues with the beds and amenities where they seemed run down at the end of the season (we stayed in November), but Robert is very responsive and I am sure they will be fixed soon (I outlined them in the private message). Also, the stairs can be pretty steep if you have a lot of luggage, just be forewarned!
We had a snafu with our arrival where nobody met us and we had to wait while someone came with the key. Robert was very apologetic (he was out of the country and had left instructions), and his son came over with some prosecco to personally apologize. I appreciated that quite a bit. I know sometimes these things happen and others likely won't have this experience.
