Interaction with Guests
We are a family of all ages and we welcome all. We love a good conversation and can provide advise on where to go or what to do. We are child friendly and have a large safe garden where children can play.
Oysterhaven is a place of beauty close to nature. It has an active beach during the day with lots of watersports taking place. In the evening it is popular with evening walks across the coast. Please bring warm clothes and rain gear for the weather in winter!
The nearest bus stop is Belgooly. We are happy to collect and drop off to the bus stop free of charge. We can also go to the airport, cork city and Kinsale and charge a small nominal fee per trip.

The cabin was wonderful. Ann picked me up from the bus station and made me feel welcome. Her grandkids brought me some tasty treats as they'd been baking. The cabin had a wonderful view of the bay and everything you'd need. You can sit on the couch and watch the day pass or have a nice walk down to the beach. If you wanted to do water activities then it's a 5 minute walk to the hiring place. When I was there it was raining, but the place was nice and relaxing so still great.
Wonderful views and Ann was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we wanted although it would have been good to have hot water in the kitchen area instead of having to boil water to wash up. However it was our very first Airbnb experience as guests and we enjoyed our stay very much and were made to feel very welcome.
Ann was very accommodating in helping us arrive successfully since we did not rent a car. We also appreciated the breakfast provisions, especially the Irish whiskey marmalade and the homemade pancakes. The deck offers spectacular views of the bay and we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon tea on it immensely. Ann's artwork in the cabin makes one feel welcome and right at home.
Ann's place is amazing. The directions to her home from the airport were easy to understand. When my husband I were first driving to her place, we were taken away by how beautiful the area is. It is very peaceful and quiet. Luckily it didn't rain too much so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Ann is very sweet and made us feel very welcomed. I plan on coming back to Ireland and would come back here to visit again!
Beautiful location overlooking a bay, 15 minute drive into lovely Kinsale! We were kindly welcomed by Ann and walked through all we needed to know about the cosy but well laid out space. Ann provided us with some nice breakfast extras. We felt very welcome here.
We really enjoyed our stay with Ann. She kindly picked us up from the bus stop, helped us get settled in and then left us to it. The accommodation was cozy and very comfortable and just as it was in the listing. The location is pleasantly quiet and within walking distance of the beach. It was too chilly for swimming but we enjoyed many walks around the area, including a walk back from Kinsale. We would happily return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful coastal retreat.
