We offer stunning views, convenient access to town, and abundant wildlife. Casa Cariblanco, tastefully designed and nestled into the jungle,
is clean and comfortable and comes fully equipped. The perfect combination of seclusion and accessibility.
Casa Cariblanco is a teak wood appointed two bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, ample indoor living space and spectacular views. It boasts both an indoor shower as well as an outdoor shower nestled into a lush fragrant flowering garden. Called the Casa Cariblanco because white faced monkeys frequent the jungle wildlife corridor in front of the house. The Montezuma River and famous Falls run adjacent. Raised wood flooring give this house nautical feeling.
The infinite edge pool is available to all Agua Vista guests and is located in close proximity to Casa Cariblanco.

We are located directly on the Montezuma River with 800 meters of river front and direct private access via well maintained trails. We have several very nice mini falls and dipping pools at our point on the river and a 10 minute walk down river will bring you to the top two falls of the famous Montezuma waterfalls. The third and final fall descends over 80 feet and is only safely accessed from below.
We are located approximately 2 km to both town and the beach, which is a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk. Slightly more than half of this distance is on our driveway which is a winding dirt road through secondary forest. There are several hills along the way, the most notable one on the main road which is a long steep hill into Montezuma.
Many guests rent a car, but there is also the option to rely on taxis which are inexpensive and easily obtained.
The four rental houses at Agua Vista are located in the lush hills above Montezuma, at the bottom of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.
We are a Tico-Gringa couple who met here in 1993 and have two little monkeys of our own. He hails from neighboring Cóbano and she comes all the way from New Jersey, USA.
After living in The Big Apple for 9 years, we decided to move back to the 'ol hometown in 2006 so the kids could swap jungle gyms for the jungle, and we happily left computer maintenance and children's animated television behind!
Because of our bicultural heritage and our deep roots in the local community, we are able to provide you with an authentic Costa Rican experience that also respects the unique concerns of tourists from abroad.
