Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Situated on eight acres of mossy forest on the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River, the yurt boasts 450 square feet of carefully selected antique furniture to create a relaxing and romantic ambiance. This luxury glamping retreat is an ideal base for adventures around the Mountain Loop Highway in the north Cascades including hiking, swimming, rafting, trail running, mountaineering, and skiing.

The space
Relax and read one of the many books while curling up in front of the wood stove. Make dinner in the fully equipped kitchen (includes olive oil, salt, and pepper) and enjoy playing board games afterwards at the beautiful, handmade dining table. Enjoy the outdoor games provided including bocce ball, croquet, horseshoes, cornhole, yardzee, and giant jenga.

Fall asleep on the plush acacia wood queen size bed or the futon and wake up rested for a day of adventure. Gourmet coffee with a French press, coffee maker or moka pot and tea is provided. Robes and slippers are available to walk just steps away from the yurt to the custom bathroom adorned with quartz countertops, stone and tile walk-in shower, and the calming aroma of cedar.

Experience the warmth of the panoramic sauna overlooking the Stillaguamish river.

Walk down to the river itself and enjoy a dip in the summer months or just sit and watch the water go by with spectacular views of Mt Pilchuck.

The property is conveniently located on the Mt Loop Highway (which means you will hear some cars going by), yet out-of-sight and secluded by trees and rainforest greenery. Wi-Fi is available using Starlink satellite internet service which is fast and suitable for work and video calls. Pets are not allowed. Amenities that can be found a short drive down the road west into Granite Falls:
- Cell reception
- Grocery store
- Restaurants
- Coffee stands
- Convenience store (opposite direction - two miles east)

Some favorite hikes nearby include the Robe Canyon Trail (just several hundred yards along the Mt Loop Hwy west of the property), Mount Pilchuck, Lake 22, Heather Lake, and Mount Dickerman. One of the most popular places to visit is the Big Four Ice Caves. You can also find an alpaca farm across the street, called Paca Pride, that provides tours to see the animals and practices in permaculture.

The storybook-like space will leave you feeling rejuvenated and anticipating a return visit - I hope you enjoy your stay at this home away from home!

Guest access
Access available to the yurt, nearby bathroom building, and the entire eight acres of the property with trails and riverbank. In rare cases, you may see a kayaker or two pass through a forest trail on the property. They have permission to pass through and are respectful and friendly.
