What a special place and wonderful hostess! The room was lovely, decorated in lovely soft sea colors. Melissa had everything a seashore traveler would need from toiletries to sunscreen and after sun skin treatments. She even provided beach towels! In the 3 desk drawers she had even organized all the local restaurant menus, local sights around Sandwich and then another drawer containing Cape Cod attractions. She knew we took milk in our coffee, so that was waiting for us in the frig! The location was secluded, yet just off the beat and path of 6A, with a town beach less than a half mile away. I would definitely stay again!
We had a great stay at Melissa`s house. The room was luxurious, spacious, with a private bath, a very comfortable bed and lovely decorated. There was coffee and a fridge with orange juice, milk, cereal etc. as well as a lot of magazines about what to do on cape cod. The location is great, very close to the beach and to many beautiful places on the cape. Though we arrived very late and therefore didn't have the chance to talk to Melissa very long, she was very welcoming and friendly. Communication prior to the trip was great, too, Melissa even asked how we wanted to drink our coffee. Great experience!
Melissa, our hostess, greeted us with immediate parking and house instructions. After that we rarely saw her, but had cordial interactions when we did. The room was what we expected, comfy enough and clean. The location is peaceful, with a great sense of nature all 'round. If we were in the neighborhood again, We'd be happy to stay with Melissa again.
Our flight to Boston was delayed a bit and it took awhile to drive out to Sandwich. We ended up arriving at 10:30PM and Melissa was there to greet us and get us situated. This was pretty much exactly what we needed - a room with private bath and food/drink! We didn't explore around the house at all since we were on a tight schedule (wedding). Lot of neat little shops and stuff in the area.
Melissa was a gracious and helpful host. She was available to answer questions and made sure we were stocked with breakfast items etc. The house is located in the woods less than a mile from Sandy Neck beach- making for a very quiet and peaceful place to retire to at the end of the day. Everything that Melissa listed for amenities was available- t.v., wifi and private bath. This made for us a very positive first time Airbnb experience.
Melissa's house was comfortable and cozy. It's located in a quiet area of Cape Cod and allowed for a perfect night of sleep. As a host, Melissa was excellent with communication. She had to go out around the time my boyfriend and I reached her house for check in, but she let us know well ahead of time and had signs that led us straight to our rooms. She had everything prepped and ready for us, including multiple kcups for coffee as well as other breakfast items. Melissa was great and I would highly recommend her place if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation/getaway at the Cape.
