About This Listing
Warm and cozy flat in a beautiful, historical palace in Oltrarno area, Florence's Rive gauche. The apartment is located between the Old Bridge and S. Niccolò district, one of the most genuine, liveliest and fashionable areas in Florence. Piazza Pitti, Via Maggio and Piazza Santo Spirito are only few minutes on foot, as well as the main historical, artistic points of interest. The area is well known for craft shops, coffee bars, typical resturants and wine bars as well as trendy shops and art galleries. The Arno river is just a few metres far. Last but not least, the green hills are literally behind the flat: Bardini Garden is right next to the apartment and if you like strolling, you can walk to Forte Belvedere, San Miniato, Piazzale Michelangelo and find yourself in a wonderful country landscape but not far from the downtown life.
The flat is composed of a living room with kitchen area; a bedroom with a double king size bed; a bathroom with shower. Well furnished, with care for details and equipped with all facilities: washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven, toaster, kettle, iron with iron board, hair dryer, bed linen and towels.
Just a few metres from the apartment are: one supermarket, a chemist's shop, nice coffe bars, bakeries, ice cream parlours, bus stops, car parkings (€ 25 per day).
The apartment is most suitable for a couple or even a single traveller who wants to enjoy Florence in a cosy, inviting, comfortable context.

Very convenient location, clean and comfortable for our 5 night stay. Elena is a fantastic host, despite feeling ill she cycled over to let us in then came back the next morning to run through some recommendations for our stay. Our only complaint is with the traffic noise through the night. The bedroom is at the front of the first floor flat, the road is one way, paved and very well used as it leads to a bridge over the river. Wish I'd taken earplugs but my husband slept like a log! Provisions left for our first morning breakfast plus ground coffee and tea bags. Pick up some fresh milk on your way there if you like a cuppa on arrival. We walked all over Florence as everything is easily reachable from the flat. Pre-book for anything you want yo visit as the queues are very long. Some places close on Mondays and first Sunday of month is free entry for public museums and galleries so we didn't get a Florence card. However there are separate entries for card holders with no queue - even for climbing up inside the Duomo. Thanks Elena, we had a great visit
Elena is the best hostess we have encountered with a number of Air Bnb rentals ( and we have had all great experiences, but she is unique!). She is responsive to all emails right away, and her apartment is fantastic.
Elena met us at the spotlessly clean apartment and spent 2 hours with us telling us what to see, where to eat, etc. Her recommendations were fantastic. We had a great conversation and felt like we were staying in the home of a friend. The location of the apartment is outstanding-just on the other side of the Arno- in a great neighborhood with fabulous goodie opportunities in San Nicolo, a short walk away. We hope we can return to Florence someday, and if we do, it will be to Elena's apartment. I wholeheartedly recommend the Cost Nest and Elena!
Our stay at Elena's Cosy Nest was just perfect ! Elena is a very welcoming and friendly host : she left us breakfast for our first morning, took over an hour to give us a list of great local restaurants and places to visit and wrote all recommended locations on a map ! The apartment is so cute, the neighborhood is quiet, and its location is in one of the most beautiful area of Firenze. We couldn't expect better and would definitely come back to her place !
Elena was a wonderful host. When we arrived there she spent over an hour describing different museums to visit and places to eat. We loved all of her recommendations. The location of the apartment was perfect. Everything you need was right around the corner and it was a short walk to the city center. I would definitely recommend Elena's apartment because it was very nice, on a great location, and Elena was very helpful.

About the Host, Elena
