We are renting a charming apartment, small but functional, located in the Quartier Latin (Have you seen Woody Allen's last movie ?) near rue Mouffetard, Saint Michel, Notre-Dame, the Pantheon and Odeon...
The building is very nice, in an pretty typical street of the Quartier Latin!
There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby. You can stroll on place de la contrescarpe or on the boulevard Saint-Germain, visit les Arènes de Lutèce and Cluny museum or go shopping on boulevard Saint-Michel. The district is ideal to discover Paris !
Two subway stops are near, Cardinal Lemoine and Jussieu, you will be wherever in Paris in next to no time.
The apartment is at the ground floor, there is a living room with a sofa, which can be used as a spare bed, a room with a double bed mezzanine.
There is a kitchen, a shower, restroom separated and WIFI.
Perfect for a couple!

Good place, the neighbourhood is excellent and overall experience was positive. Françøise is an easy to reach person (although we didn't meet in person) and very easy going.
We rented this apartment for 7 days and found Sonia (our host) very friendly, organized, and helpful. The location was conveniently located next to two metro stops. Only problem with this is we could hear the metro running underground in the wee hours of the morning. (because the unit is on the ground floor) If your able to have a deep sleep this wont be a problem but if you're a light sleeper this could be an issue.
The apartment was decorated adorably and was very tidy. The bed is raised up and you have to take a steep ladder to get on top of it, which ended up being a little bit of an annoyance at times. The internet was extremely fast in the unit & heaters throughout the flat kept it warm at all hours. Shower had good water pressure and heat but the curtain often got sucked into the shower.
Overall our experience with this apartment was positive. We really liked the host and a lot of things about the place. The neighborhood is great for bars & restaurants and reasonably close to lots of sights. We would recommend this place for younger travelers who want to visit Paris and stay in a nice place while still on a budget.

We had a great stay in this cozy little apartment in the Latin Quarter. It's a great location, 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame and very convenient to two Metro stops, on two different lines. We appreciated that it was on a quiet street, with very little noise from the outside. The kitchen had all the basic necessities, though we didn't cook much, and the shower and bathroom were fine. The bed was comfortable, though the ladder to climb up to the bed is a bit steep and required proceeding carefully. As long as you're comfortable with that, I would definitely recommend a stay here!
What a lovely way to experience Paris and traveling in Europe for the first time! Sonia was extremely helpful: gave us perfect directions and helpful tips and sites to visit, and when we realized our phones weren't working to call her we panicked when we got to the studio. Thankfully she assumed as much and was waiting patiently for us to arrive! The studio was adorable and there were only minor complaints with dust and heat. This flat is so conveniently located and we were so grateful for that with our little one. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
This little place is perfect for those looking for great location. in the heart of the "quartier latin" getting around by metro system is very easy. 1 minute walking distances from two metros stations makes for easy travel.
The apartments in paris are small, this one is no exception, but its perfect for two people, who will spend most of thier time exploring the city.
Sonia and Francoise were very flexible with our check in/out dates. They also gave us some milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine to welcome us. you can easily buy breakfast at the bakers in the morning down the street.
Take note that the bed is a twin and may be considered small for some couples. travelers must be able-bodied to climb up the ladder.
Fridge, hot shower, great internet connection, fresh towels, almost feels like a hotel!
I would definitely book with Francoise and Sonia again, as a first timer with Air b&b it was a great, simple and easy experience.
Great location!. I didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment but it suited my needs perfectly for what I was there. Françoise and Sonia were very helpful and welcoming when I arrived.
Ian and I would like to thank Sonia for hosting our stay, she was very helpful in sorting out any problem that came along. The apartment met our needs for the week we were there. The kitchen could probably do with a bigger frypan but otherwise I was able to cook all of our meals without any drama. The location of the apartment was important to us - we traveled the underground often and it was reassuring that Cardinale Lemoine was almost on our doorstep. Sometimes it's the small things that count the most - Sonia had stocked the fridge with a bottle of milk so we were able to make a cuppa before heading out to enjoy our first evening in Paris.
We stayed 8 nights, and the apartment was in a perfect location between 2 Metro stations, both of which could be reached walking in under 2 minutes. It was great to be able to walk all over but also nice to quickly hop the metro to all the major sites. Perfect spot for 2 people with table/chairs, couch, desk, and lofted bedspace. Washer available, but no dryer. The loft bed could be a problem for people who have trouble climbing a ladder, but not for us. Closet space underneath the lofted bed was sufficient, but might be a problem for tall people!
The host provided coffee and tea, some juice and milk, even a couple beers and a fresh baguette from the boulangerie at the corner, which was nice. Plenty of plates, glasses, linens, essentials. We didn't cook there much, but we could have easily.
They provided lots of useful tips to us ahead of time on everything from transportation to restaurants in the area to what's going on in the area. Local grocery Carrefour is in the next block; not open on Sundays. An open area market at the Rue Monge metro station on Sundays WAS great, with lots of fresh fruits, flowers, meat, cheese, etc.
Francoise met us at the apartment and showed us through it in detail. We didn't have any trouble with the internet or the amount of hot water as others have indicated. We agree the futon doesn't really stay together when 2 people sit on it for an extended time, but, we didn't spend THAT much time there to have it matter.
It was the right place for us for feeling like we were having a real Paris experience. The street could be noisy late at night on weekends with people heading home from their long evenings out, but nothing unbearable. The stairs to the upper apartment are right over the bed, so sometimes that was loud as well.
Would recommend this apartment/host to everyone!
