I am a teacher, boatbuilder, designer-builder who has been displaced from the pleasures of the Harbors in Marblehead and Salem, MA and is learning to love the pleasures of the Hudson River.
My co-host and wife of 38 years, Jeannie Steigler, teaches ESL at RPI and is Assistant Director of their Advising and Learning Center. She is also an avid flower gardener which greatly enhances our little city oasis. We met doing design-build projects together.
We offer to pick up our guests who are arriving by plane, train or bus for $20.00-
Substantially less than cab fare - whenever our schedules allow us to do that.
We also will take guests for scenic rowboat rides across the Hudson River to the start of the Erie Canal for an additional $30.00 when weather permits.
