Jungle Bay is a new eco-lodge located at the far end of Koh Rong Samloem, a 15 minute walk from the main beach. Our guesthouse is the perfect place for those who want to get away from the noise and bustle of everyday life. Come and enjoy the reconnection with nature - spend time in the jungle, snorkel, eat good food and relax while surrounded by some of the most incredible landscapes you will ever experience. We hope you will feel at home during your time here. Looking forward to welcoming you!

The space
Jungle Bay is ecolodge on the southern side of Koh Rong Sanloem constructed mainly out of natural materials and using Khmer designs. It is located in a peaceful and more isolated part of the island, filled with trees and plants and the sounds of birds and the waves in the background. There are lots of hammocks to lie in and a beautiful view of the sunset across the bay every evening. Although there is no beachfront, the water off the pier forms a natural pool which is ideal for swimming.

Bathroom facilities are shared and include an open air shower. We also offer a wholesome breakfast and dinner. If you prefer to eat at one of the many places on the the main beach at Saracen Bay, for a small fee we can drop and pick you up. Since all electricity on the island comes from diesel powered generators, electricity is available from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm. There is also solar power in every room to provide light.

Koh Rong Sanloem is a beautiful ecosystem and there are lots of opportunities to explore the island. We can show you the various options for walks and occasionally we also organise jungle treks. There is some incredible coral a short boat ride from us and we offer snorkeling tours. In the evenings we go out to see the plankton glowing in the inky black sea and the hundreds of stars in the night sky. Since there is so much to soak in and it takes time to truly relish an environment, we suggest booking a stay for at least three nights.

Things move quite slowly around here. There are plenty of spots to lie down, read a book or play a game. Our Khmer employees are very friendly and would love if you can teach them a few words in your language. We hope you feel at home here and would welcome any contribution you would like to make to our place, however small. For example, creating something using natural or recycled materials you find here..

Our only request is that you respect the island environment and do what you can to preserve its natural beauty. Pick up trash if it happens to float by and ask for your drink without a straw. We strive to stay conscious of the elements surrounding us and we hope you do the same.

We have three types of rooms available. Take a look at our listings to choose which you prefer.

Bungalows are located along the pier and each has a balcony from which you can watch the waves and sunset. Sometimes you can see a school of flying fish jumping out of the water.

Yurts are spacious and comfortable tents with large net doors and a view of the sea outside.

Jungle huts are wooden and a bit further back amidst the jungle.
