We really enjoyed our stay in Michele's flat in Monti. It is small but very charming and well equipped (and the bed is super comfy!), we felt at home! We really enjoyed staying in Monti, it's so central that you can walk everywhere but somehow it is not too touristy. We loved being able to pop back to the flat during the day, get some food from the local shops and enjoy our lunch on the rooftop terrace! The area is also packed with good restaurants and bars so you are spoilt for choice to go out in the evening.
We did not get to meet Michele during our stay in Rome but communication was super easy and everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay there again.
Stephanie was my guess in one of my NiceFlatInRome, I did not meet her but we did not have problems in communication at all, I found the flat clean and she took care of the property. She is a very good customer to recommend. Thank you Stephanie and see you soon in Rome again. When ever you want to come back it will be my pleasure to have you again in one of my NiceFlatInRome.
Michele hosted us in a very nice way, the place was great, in a very nice neighbourhood, 5m away from the metro and very close to all the tourist attractions, but our area was very authentic, we had a great time, gracie!
A wonderful host. Michele was very welcoming. He was also very thorough and clear on how the house was organised. He was very helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
Michele responded quickly to all communications. He addressed all issues and made sure we were comfortable. The apartment facilities were exactly like those in the photographs. The location was absolutely perfect. The apartment was steps away from Cavour station, super markets (go to Super Elite on Cavour St.) and two blocks away from the Imperial Forum/Colosseum. What was not disclosed on the Airbnb website but is important to note, is the antiquated electrical system of the apartment building. Michele sent me an email about this once we arrived. We could only run three appliances at a time before the electricity would go out and we'd have to go to the basement to switch on the circuit breakers. It was more of a nuisance than a true problem.
Ciao Gloria, thanks to your nice review. Your complain surprised me because actually you are the first person that run into this problem. Please check my previous reviews. I would like to be clear concerning the issue about the electric system. First of all it is legal guarantee and not antiquated as you said. Secondly the nuisance happened because you overload the system using together air conditioning, oven, washing machine, boiler. All the properties located in the city centre must respect a limit of consume imposed by the la w of the Council of Rome. Once you go over the limit, the system turn it off. The trick is to pay a little bit of attention and everything is functional as it always is.
Thanks to be my guess!! A presto
This is the second time we stay in Michele's Apartment, and we still love it. The location is perfect, and the terrace is amazing. Highly recommended.
Michele could not have been more accommodating and gracious as a host! His flat was perfect and the outdoor terrace was spectacular. It is exactly as pictured and described. Breakfast and afternoon treats were enjoyed everyday out on the terrace. The location was perfect, between the close proximity of the metro and the pedestrian area at the forum made it great for running and getting around the city! Michele's knowledge of the area and recommendations were spot on ! We will stay here for sure next time and will recommend to our friends
Overall, a decent place to stay in Rome. Literally less than 10 min to the Colosseum, 15 min to the Trevi fountain and about 1 min to the Cavour train stop. Having the washing machine is key and there's a drying rack and iron provided. Safe neighborhood, with tons of bars/restaurants, so there's always people around. I think we are the only people to have communication issues with Michele, since he did not let us know he would not be available on the day of our arrival but in the end it worked out fine. For the price, definitely worth it.
Dear Nicole, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience of the check in.
The day of your arrival was an important religious Holiday and because of this for one day my mobile was off. My colleague Mrs Joan was waiting for your in front of the flat and everything was fine! Next time I ll let you know.

My family is in Tourism business since 1968 and our passion is still strong.
My goal is to improve year by year my services and to collaborate with all our customers to better organize their journey in the properties located in the heart of Rome.
The difference between me and my competitor is the seriously in business, the quality of the services, the kindness of my personnel, the availabilities in solving problems linked to the vacation in the flats.
My catchword is “ THE ART OF HOSPITALITY”
