Clean, bright apartment in vibrant residential area close to public transport - easy access to the city centre. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, cozy decor - this is the perfect, little base for your Copenhagen-trip.
Lovely small apartment for rent!
I share the apartment with my sister (Freja), and we are offering the whole apartment while we are both travelling (2 rooms, 2 beds, space for 4 people in total). In April/May 2015, however, I will be at home, and her room is the only one for rent. In June only my room is for rent.
The rooms are bright and both have comfy double beds, dining tables and chairs, plus a bit of shelf-space - and one of the rooms has a stereo. View of a quiet court yard (which you are welcome to use) from one room, and view of a street and public park from the other. The kitchen isn't huge, but has all the amenities. Small hallway and bathroom. Wifi included. Take a look at the photos, and let them convince you that size isn't everything :)
I'll make sure you have towels, sheets, pillows and an extra sleeping bag, if needed. And I'll make a homemade guide to start you off in Copenhagen, with my personal do's and dont's. And a map, of course.
This place is small, but nice, and close to the city and public transportation, if that's your thing (I prefer biking, as any sane Copenhagener does!).
Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll be happy to help!
Interaction with Guests
If one of us is also staying in the apartment, we are of course available to give advice and chat. If my sister and I both are travelling during your stay, we will be available via phone, and we will make sure you are properly welcomed into the apartment by either ourselves or a friend.
The neighborhood (Nord Vest) is quiet, but lively - lots of cheap grocery stores and take-away places all around, lots of different people, not as gentrified as Nørrebro (yet). I've lived in this 'hood my whole life, and I love it here!
The apartment is a 3 min. walk from bus 5A, which takes you downtown, to Nørreport Station (through the hip and lovely area Nørrebro) in 15 minutes. A night bus drives the same route all night. The place is also an 8 min. walk from Nørrebro Station. Free car parking on the street.
2 decent bikes are included in the rental of this room! You can bike to the centre of the city in less than 20 min.
No loud music and you should be quiet after midnight, out of respect for the neighbors. My sister sometimes smokes in the kitchen (with the door closed and the window open), and you can do the same, if you like.
If you have any questions or doubts, let me know!
We had a wonderful time staying at Ronja's home. She was very welcoming and provided us with great maps, and cool things to do in Copenhagen. It was such a treat to experience the city on bike! Would love to stay again!
Me and my friend had a great time at Ronja's place. She welcomed us with a guide about her favorite things to do in Copenhagen which turned out to be very useful during our stay.
About the flat: the room is really big and she provided us with everything needed (blanket, towels, etc.). Even though it is on the street side, the neighborhood is quiet and we didn't have any problem to sleep. The flat overall is quite cute. Ronja and her sister managed to furnish the rooms in a smart way. I definitely recommend it!
We loved staying at Ronjas place! Her apartment is really lovely and the room we stayed in was very cute, big and bright. Ronja gave us a list of her personal Copenhagen favourites and the two bikes made it really easy to explore everything. Nørrebro is a great and vibrant part of Copenhagen and and really worth exploring, too.
Ronja was a great and kind host and we would definitely stay there again!
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our stay in this home was great ! Thanks to Ronja's detailed instructions, the apartment was very easy to find. It's right by the bus stop which passes by pretty often and has lots of stores and fast food joints around. We were greeted by Ronja's sister and her friend who were nice enough to show us everything we needed to know about the apartment.
The rooms are pretty big and clean & even though the kitchen wasn't huge, the beautiful plates and decorations gave it a very cozy feel. The bathroom, toilet and shower are all in one which can take some getting used to but it's pretty common there and it's really not an issue.
There were guide books and maps on the table that Ronja was kind enough to leave for us that were pretty helpful.
Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this apartment and would recommend it to anyone thinking about doing the same.
Lovely room, very comfy and quaint. Bikes are a definite bonus. Would stay again if back in town.
Ronja's place was wonderful: easy to get to, clean, super cute! She left us a great list of neighborhood recommendations with detailed descriptions and access and encouragement to use her bikes. I highly recommend this room!
I'm a young woman, studying a master in Social Studies of Gender at Lund University. I finished my Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen. I've travelled a bit - especially in Europe, the Middle East, North America and East Africa - and I've lived in Montréal for a year, so I know the pleasures of discovering new places; and living cheap while you do it :)
If you stay in my apartment, I will make sure the place is clean and cozy, and that you have all the information you need to feel comfortable; in both my place and the wonderful city of Copenhagen!
