Welcome to Willowbrook! Our home is the perfect getaway from which to explore all that the Berkshires has to offer. This secluded yet close to town property has access to miles of hiking trails, ski resorts, and cultural institutions. Once home to members of the Crane family who have lived in Dalton since 1799, you can stay in a piece of history and even visit the Crane paper museum in town! We are so looking forward to hosting you in this beautiful place we call home.

The space
The open living space along with 7 bedrooms can sleep 14. Perfect for large groups, and with multiple bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms it's ideal for multiple families who also desire privacy.
Downstairs is a possible two bedroom suite with bathroom, with one bedroom containing a king bed and the other a queen.

Upstairs is another possible two bedroom suite with bathroom, with one bedroom containing two twin beds and the other a full.

Also upstairs with shared bathroom is a queen bedroom and a bedroom with a king, master bedroom and master bath.

All bedrooms have windows as well as A/C.

The fully appointed beautiful kitchen is just waiting to be used, it’s the perfect space to gather and wind-down after an exciting day exploring, and with so many incredible local farmers and producers there’s no shortage of amazing ingredients to work with!
Some of those local products you’ll have awaiting your arrival include coffee, Berkshire Mountain Bakery Bread, eggs and High Lawn Farm milk.
With a butler’s pantry and sunny dining nook adjoining the kitchen there's plenty of space to spread out.

With two separate living rooms downstairs; one with a TV, the kids can have their own space while still being close by.

Have work to do? A large desk and workspace upstairs is just the quiet place to get work done.

A huge outdoor space is perfect for pickup games of soccer, while the patio provides a quiet space for that first relaxing cup of coffee, or once it’s warmer a little sunrise salutation for those yoga lovers!

A real haven in the Berkshires yet close to the action, Willowbrook is the perfect getaway that provides a real sense of seclusion while being only minutes from the center of Dalton.

Disclaimer Alert: Due to the new 2019 Massachusetts tax law regarding vocation rental, there will be a 5.7% lodging fee charged based on the nightly rate for the reservation. Guest who do instant booking will have to make the 5.7% lodging fee through Airbnb’s resolution department. Those who require approval for booking will be sent a special offer which will reflect the 5.7% lodging tax rate which will reflect the total cost for the reservation.

Willowbrook is ideally located for those wanting to explore outdoors with the Appalachian Trail running directly north of the property, as well as the Ashuwillticook Biking Trail less than 10 minutes away.

Driving 25 minutes north there is Williamstown where the incredible Clark Museum is located, same distance is North Adams with MassMoca the famous modern art museum.

Less than 10 minutes away is the city of Pittsfield, full of wonderful bars and restaurants. Right here in Dalton less than 5 mins down the road and partially owned by a member of the Crane family is Shire-Breu-Hous, a 7-barrel brewpub located at the original Crane stationery factory! Our welcome book will provide guests with all the dining and activity information they will need during their visit.

The Crane Paper Museum located right here in Dalton is a fascinating look into not only where our country's currency is produced but over 200 years of history, and not to be missed!
