Our host met us on time at the property and showed us how everything worked. It's a great location, terrific views and very quaint.
Dianne was very friendly and welcoming. She clearly showed me around the house and pointed out where everything was. The home is situated at the top of a straight street from Bridgeway, which is a blessing rather than have to traverse the maze of roads in the hill. At the bottom of the hill there's Fred's , excellent breakfast!. The view from her deck is a great way to wake up every morning with coffee in hand. Very quite neighborhood, too quiet and dark if you're from the city like me but after the first night, you start to feel relaxed there.
Dianne was such a great host. She was flexible, easy to contact, and very friendly. We truly enjoyed her unique home! Grateful that her home is also located so close to all the amazing shopping and good in Sausalito! A truly great location. The view to the water was a beautiful way to wake up.

This is the best part of Airbnb, stepping into someone else's shoes for a moment and seeing how they live in Sausalito. This property was ideally located for us, providing easy access to stores, cafes and clubs, bike trails and the ferry to SF. This home has a cozy-cabin feel to it with a beautiful boat-filled view of the bay lighting most rooms. The high ceilings and spacious kitchen were ideal group-cooking for Thanksgiving. It was a pleasure to be among the host's collection of beautiful cookware and housewares reflecting her love of Italy and sense of adventure. Everyone in our group was delighted to stay here.
This house was absolutely filthy!!! It was borderline disgusting!
It was like having bedrooms in a junkyard!
What may have been Sausalito hippy rustic 10 years ago, is now a filthy cluttered house (used razors in the bathroom) with junk everywhere -- broken glass sitting around on the deck as if they were ornaments...not ideal for kids.
The kitchen dysfunctional and not useable...which meant having to eat out all the time at very large extra expense.
We paid a 5 star price for a 1 star property, actually zero stars! we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel for the price we paid for this filthy house where your feet stuck to the dirty carpets!
it was very disappointing!
Dianne's house is a wonderful little house that is within walking distance of downtown Sausalito. My co-workers had never been to Sausalito, and so this place was perfect as a starting point for our weekend.
Dianne was a very low-key and gracious lady, and I am glad that she let us stay in her house. I would recommend anyone looking to visit Sausalito for the first time or for the hundredth time to see if you can stay at Dianne's.

About the Host, Dianne
Hi everyone! My name is Dianne and I love living in Sausalito. I enjoy everything about the outdoors; sailing, kayaking, rowing, hiking, gardening, biking, you name it. Also love playing dominoes and backgammon. As a native San Franciscan, I've enjoyed every moment of living here.
Traveling the world is my passion, with Italy at the top of the list. Lago di Como and Villa D'este have a special place in my heart! I love teaching women how to sail,(so they feel competent and confident) and now teach couples, families, corporate bonding on my sailboat. I have sailed the Caribbean, Hawaii, Greek Isles, San Francisco Bay, the South Pacific. I also take children out sailing who have cancer, and their families for simply a fun day, to enjoy, and get away from it all! I graduated from UC Berkeley, and have affiliations with Marin Rowing, University of Washington,( especially the crew team) and with the University of Oregon and USC.
Send me a message with any questions you have, and I look forward to hosting you at my Sausalito home. Ciao!
