I would like to welcome you into our unique abode.
Our home is located in one of the most attractive area within Shanghai's French Concession. With the famous yet charming Tian Zi Fang immediately adjacent, this neighborhood is the most optimal downtown locations to stay.

My apartment is bright, airy, and full of character. It's located on the top floor of a very traditional Chinese lane home.
The interior is really charming with dark hardwood floors, modern furniture, and modern furnishings with the feel of a loving home.
There's also a 50m2 Roof Garden that overlooks TianZiFang's restaurants. On our rooftop, you can take lounge and relax on our comfortable outdoor furniture. The balcony is really like an oasis from the hustle & bustle of the Shanghai city life.
**Kindly note, you will be renting ONE large spare room that can accommodate ONE to TWO people.
Recently We just newly bought a puppet Emma, a border collie , if you are a dog lover that will be great, if you do have allergy or fear to puppies, please don't book our place.

Katherine and Cliff and dear Emma , all of you are essential sparkles that lighten up my solo trip. xank u for the kindness and hospitality . the moment i entered the loft , the fotos on th piano filled with love which reminded of me 《memory of love》.
The home is lovely with a beautiful roof garden and the host couple is very friendly, I was invited to have a dinner nearby, but Unfortunately, I was sick when I arrived in Shanghai, Katherine gave me the herb medicine to help relief the cold I got. Thank you, Katherine. As I had lived in Shanghai before, most homes has no heater system as in UK, but a electronic heater in my room helped me a lot this time.
Katerine and Cliff were great hosts, amazing disponibility to help us discovering Shanghai city . This kind of host make airbnb bigger and bigger. Thanks Cliff and Katerine for the great moments you gave us.
I stayed at Katherine's and Cliff's apartment for 4 nights. The location of their apartment can't be better. Right next to Tianzifang in the French Concession.
Katherine and Cliff are very easy going and welcoming. They invited me to join a dinner and to see Cliff's stand up comedy show. Unfortunately, I couldn't join. I did have some nice chats with them. apart from that, it was nice that they went their way and I could go mine. Perfect balance.
The room was clean, the bed big and comfy. Their apartment is small but comfortable. The only thing is that the internet is rather slow.
My experience at their home was very good. They helped me when I had questions and I found the room exactly what I had hoped for. thank you!

Hi . I am Katherine . . About me. . . Well . . . . . . .I love life ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! and grew up in North Eastern China. I was born and raised for my first 8 years in a village near Anyang in Henan province which was the ancient capital of China. My lucky break in life came when my Father became an oil "worker" in Liaoning province where the State Owned Oil company that created the area was able to build the best schools in China and where I was educated to a standard that got me into the best university in Shenyang North Eastern University to study English.
After graduating in 2002 I set off to Shanghai with a suitcase to make my fortune and after learning the headhunting business ended up teaching English at Shanghai Maritime University for 5 years to keep my mother happy. My love of the search business and boredom with teaching English persuaded me to quit and I soon became the top billing consultant of 72 in my former company and after 2 years in 2008 they sent me to Singapore to open an office there.
Shortly before this I met Cliff and our relationship has now developed into Husband and Wife and we were married in 2012 in a beautiful town in Italy called Cortina D'Ampezzo where it was only possible for us to stay due to AIRBNB which we always use when traveling.
In 2008 Cliff and I started our company FITCO and we are now in our 6 year of business and I have recently been accepted on to the Fudan Washington Global EMBA program which will elevate my career and business to new heights I am confident.
I have traveled with Cliff to Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, United Kingdom , France, Italy and finally last October to the United States for 23 days where we stayed for 21 in AIRBNB accommodation that made the trip highly affordable.
Most interestingly, the magazine GQ China also interviewed us about our airbnb lifestyle! We had a pleasant interview with Journalist Liya! The photographer also came to our place and took some beautiful pictures. This unforgettable experience made me realize that I am living a most interesting life that I desire!
