Katherine and Cliff were very kind, interesting, and interactive hosts. They took us out to have dinner one night, showed us the best place to get local breakfast, and allowed us to invite some friends over for wine on the roof deck -- a perfect escape for a summer night. My one concern on arriving was whether the cab would be able to find the spot, but it turned out not to be a problem -- Katherine sent me the address, and I had printed a Chinese map with the street address marked, which turned out to be useful. The space is charming and cozy and their dog Emma was very friendly too!
I enjoyed staying in Katherine's apartment. It was located in a great location and was clean and cozy. It was also great getting to know both Katherine and Cliff. Their dog, Emma, was very sweet.
Something to keep in mind - the stairs leading to the apartment are dark and pretty narrow, so I had a bit of a tough time moving my luggage up and down, but it is probably easier for those who travel with less stuff.
Katherine's house with the most convenient location, bus and subway are very convenient. Our living environment clean and comfortable, Katherine is tender, cliff is very warmheart, they invited us in the early morning for the small balcony breakfast together to enjoy the sunshine. Every day when we back Emma would give us warm welcome, It like the feeling of home. The house is close to Tianzifang and SML center，It can easily meet the anyone's requirements for food. vegetable market， grocery and convenience stores are easy found. About the Host, Katherine
Hi . I am Katherine . . About me. . . Well . . . . . . .I love life ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! and grew up in North Eastern China. I was born and raised for my first 8 years in a village near Anyang in Henan province which was the ancient capital of China. My lucky break in life came when my Father became an oil "worker" in Liaoning province where the State Owned Oil company that created the area was able to build the best schools in China and where I was educated to a standard that got me into the best university in Shenyang North Eastern University to study English.
After graduating in 2002 I set off to Shanghai with a suitcase to make my fortune and after learning the headhunting business ended up teaching English at Shanghai Maritime University for 5 years to keep my mother happy. My love of the search business and boredom with teaching English persuaded me to quit and I soon became the top billing consultant of 72 in my former company and after 2 years in 2008 they sent me to Singapore to open an office there.
Shortly before this I met Cliff and our relationship has now developed into Husband and Wife and we were married in 2012 in a beautiful town in Italy called Cortina D'Ampezzo where it was only possible for us to stay due to AIRBNB which we always use when traveling.
In 2008 Cliff and I started our company FITCO and we are now in our 6 year of business and I have recently been accepted on to the Fudan Washington Global EMBA program which will elevate my career and business to new heights I am confident.
I have traveled with Cliff to Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, United Kingdom , France, Italy and finally last October to the United States for 23 days where we stayed for 21 in AIRBNB accommodation that made the trip highly affordable.
Most interestingly, the magazine GQ China also interviewed us about our airbnb lifestyle! We had a pleasant interview with Journalist Liya! The photographer also came to our place and took some beautiful pictures. This unforgettable experience made me realize that I am living a most interesting life that I desire!
