We have a large comfortable house which we built ourselves, on two acres near a small country town between Brisbane and Toowoomba. It is a very quiet area, (apart from the native birds and frogs) and you may see wallabies if you want to go for a walk in the morning or evening. The location offers panoramic views of the Lockyer Valley, and is very close to where the explorer, Allan Cunningham surveyed the area when he crossed the little Liverpool Range in the early 19th century. We have 5 acres of land with paths leading down the hill that you can explore with plenty of spots you can just rest and enjoy the views. If you are interested in art there are plenty of sights to inspire you to draw or photograph.
The separate comfortable cabin that you would be staying in has a fold out futon, small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet are in the main house and would be shared with us. We also have a very attractive barbecue, pool and outdoor living area that you are most welcome to take advantage of. Our home is very easy to reach by car and there is easy parking.
It is an ideal place if you want to relax and spend a bit of time by yourself- meditate, or finish that book you always intended to read someday.
We would stay there again.
So hard to leave this very nice place and these very very kind persons. The B'n'B stay turned into something much more interesting thanks to the generosity of this family. We are glad to keep on meeting such great people. The accomodation is a neat place to retreat, wonderful landscape and surroundings! We definitely recommand Lynette and Jens's place!
