Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Our place is the original downstairs Jack and Jill bedrooms that we converted into a private space in a residential neighborhood.
We live onsite and this is our only Airbnb. There is an entry keypad which offers a safe, keyless entry.
Kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate and a sink for light cooking.

The space
There is free street parking available, although with the addition of a new bicycle path, the number of spaces is very limited. The entrance is private with a keypad and although the rental is part of the main house that we live in, it is completely insulated for noise reduction. The 'living room' and 'kitchen' are in one room and there is a separate bedroom and bathroom. There are several closets to hang clothes as well.

Guest access
Guests (only) can access our pool (open from +/- Memorial Day to Labor Day) - weather permitting! We also use the backyard and pool, but is otherwise private. We are in a residential neighborhood. This is the only Airbnb that we own.

Other things to note
There is no smoking inside and please mind your butts outside.

Please, no minor children allowed and the pool is for guest use only.

You must have a profile and positive reviews before you can book with us.

The thermostat is not inside the rental. Temperature is set at 74 degrees. There is an additional air conditioner set up during warm months and kept in the bedroom closet during cold months. There is a heater in the bathroom and plenty of additional blankets if needed.

Ron and I have lived at this address since 1998. The house and yard are ever evolving and we continue to make improvements. Our back yard is a peaceful haven right in the heart of Virginia Highlands. We love to travel and enjoy other cultures and cuisines.
