Nick and Rihannon were very gracious hosts. They made us feel comfortable and welcome and were friendly throughout. The room itself is a no-frills, affordable place to crash in beautiful Carroll Gardens. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Nick and Rihannon's place very much.
From the outset Nick and Rhiannon were extremely welcoming and helpful. They opened their home to really make us feel at ease in such a perfect location in Brooklyn. We really enjoyed our stay in New York and having a comfortable home to come back to each night made it all the more enjoyable.
.on a pu repartir en metro jusqu'à JFK cest tres simple...Thank you very much
Nick and his wife were very warm, funny and welcoming. The location was perfect for me, as I was shuttling between visits with friends and family in Carroll Gardens and Park Slope. The building is fairly private and the street was quieter than I thought it would be, which was a plus. Overall, an easy, low-key experience! Thanks, Nick and Rhi!
If you want to experience Brooklyn as the food mecca it is, you'll want to stay here!! As a longtime Brooklynite between apartments, it was a joy to stay so close to so many places I love (Frankie's) or have been wanting to try (Court Street Grocers, right across the street).
The other thing to know about this area is you can walk to sooooo many neighborhoods in Brooklyn from here: Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Red Hook, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Dumbo.
I'm literally living out of a suitcase right now -- and though the room is small, it was large enough to accommodate my stuff (and Nick offered before I even got there to park my suitcase in the main apartment).
As to Nick and Rihanna, they are lovely people, very accommodating, and I hope I get to know them better once I settle back into Brooklyn. They were incredibly welcoming, incredibly gracious, and incredibly accommodating.
And if you want to go into the city, the F/G is right around the corner.
We had a perfect stay in Brooklyn! We were just looking for a place to crash for the night after catching a show for the evening and this was perfect. It was comfortable and private and our hosts were great. We would definitely consider staying again!
Nick and Rhiannon are the hosts - we have been together for nine years and got married in September 2014. Nick is a public interest attorney and Rhiannon produces fundraising events for a NYC nonprofit. Travelers ourselves, we are excited to host others from around the country and world.
