Amazing place, Annalisa was wondefull with us...don't hesitate to go in this really nice abbey
Imagine waking up in a medieval abbey with elaborate frescos as your first view. Eat some breakfast or lunch in a vast kitchen you don’t want to leave again. If you leave this amazingly beautiful house nevertheless you have several great places to visit: Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spello, just to name a few. Or just stay in the garden with its changing scents of lavender, rosemary and flower bouquets.
Annalisas credo is «live and let live» what she veritably did. The few encounters we had were very pleasant. Annalisa is a great host!
Annalisas abbey is a delightful and beautiful haven. Annalisa provided above and beyond what was required for a comfortable and pleasant 2 night retreat in Umbria. Our only regret was having to leave after only 2 nights. Great location only 30 minutes from Perugia. Would highly recommend staying here. Attention to detail and beautiful art and craft work are a treat. Thanks Annalisa this has been our favourite accommodation on our 8 week journey to Europe
Thank you Annalisa and Sarah for welcoming us to your wonderful abbey! It suprpassed our expectations in every way: it was amazing to sleep under centuries old frescoes, to wake up and have breakfast in the old garden full of roses and herbs, and to cook using the fresh vegetables and herbs which are lovingly tended to by Annalisa and Francesco. The rooms, kitchen, bathroom are fully equipped and comfortable, the abbey breathes peace and quiet. Many tastefully arranged details and works of art and the small church with its crypt complete this unique experience!
un posto straordinario e unico che non si vorrebbe lasciare mai, accoglienza estremamente cordiale , efficiente e generosa, una esperienza da ripetere alla prima occasione possibile.
This apartment was better than we could have ever expected! Annalisa was a lovely hostess, welcoming us and giving us a tour with some of the history of the amazing abbey. This ancient site was such a special place for us to spend the first night of our honeymoon. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and happens to be underneath some wonderful 16th century frescoes painted on the ceiling. Waking up in the morning and having coffee outside in the garden was the best way to start our first full day in Italy! The only downside to our stay was that it lasted only one night!!
We really enjoyed our staying at the Abbey. The apartment was spacious, clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. There were high ceilings with beautiful antique frescos. It was so incredible to lie in the evening and look at these wonderful frescos and waking up to seeing this beauty.
After a noisy and crowded Venice, this place was a real paradise of silence and relaxation. It was absolutely peaseful: at the evening were heard trills of nightingales, fireflies glowed in the dark, frogs croaked in the pond and in the morning we waking up at crowing rooster!
Thank you, Annalisa, for a wonderful and calming stay!
