  • I had a great experience here. Tracey was always looking for ways to be hospitable and accommodating, and the room was clean and well-located. Highly recommend it to others.

  • Tracey's places was lovely, an excellent crash pad for our weekend away. The room was big and spotlessly clean whilst also feeling cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Most of all Tracey was really friendly and helpful.

  • I was traveling on a budget from NYC to meet my girl friend who has been teaching english in Mulhouse France since September. We had already made plans to meet up for a more traditional backpacking trip of Europe at the end of her school year, but after a few months of being apart we just had to see each other!

She'd directed me to AirBnB so I checked it out...a few clicks later I had set up a profile, placed a reservation on a room that fit my budget, and no more then 20min later I received a personal (not automated) response from Tracey saying everything was confirmed (with 100% refund up and till 24 hours notice). This whole process could not have been any easier (I wish paying the cable bill was this simple.)

Tracey's falt is located in D4, which to me meant nothing but a few friendly Irish folk in JFK assured me it was a terrific spot to be staying in... and they were right. It's so easy to get to from the airport, you're only a 15min walk to the city center, and 10min from the nearest train (that we found).

Since we were only there for a weekend we did a lot of walking around Dublin's City Center and iconic spots. We took two day trips by public transit ( very easy).

Far and away my favorite trip was to Howth. It's just a 20min DART ride (Subway / Trolly) and it's totally worth it. It's a beautiful fishing community, with great food options and lots to see. The best part of this day trip is the the Cliff Walk...great vistas, huge panoramic's, massive cliffs, all linked by a wonderful footpath. I spent the better part of 4 hours walking, taking photos, sitting, thinking. I could have spent longer but my day got off to a late start. If you can, plan to be on the cliffs around the "magic hour," I would say the sunset is worth it!

Tracey was everything you want in a good host; Polite, friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the area. She was always willing to chat with us about our day or just about our experiences abroad in general, but more importantly she respected our space and could tell when we needed to left alone.

The room is fantastic, even better than the pictures show. You wont be disappointed. Comfortable bed, spacious room, balcony, high speed internet, great's basically like a hotel room.

To sum it up the trip was fantastic (albeit short) and Tracy was terrific, wonderful, respectful, fun, engaging, funny, and full of life. I would 100% recommend Tracey to anyone looking to travel not just on a budget, but who are looking for an authentic experience.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed with Tracey for 2 nights. She was an amazing host and really made us feel welcomed and at home. The pictures of the room don't lie. It is an enormous room with a big bathroom attached. The balcony is very nice well.

This apartment is located minutes away from Aviva Stadium, so if you plan on going to an event there like we did (Ireland vs Argentina Rugby) this place is perfect! If there is a con to the apartment it is that it is a bit of a walk to the city centre.

All in all my girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with our first AirBNB experience and we would recommend staying with Tracey to anyone of our friends.

  • Tracy welcomed me in there house. I had a really pleasant stay. Tracy helped me to find the places where i wanted to go explaining about the busses, she was very kind to me!. So was great!
The location is really good, close to centre . The room is warm and comfortable! A really good experience!!

  • Tracey is a warm, funny and generous host, picking me up when arriving and offering all the fascilities of her beautiful apartment. I came for a conference, additionally my time was packed with other computer-work in the evenings, but in my spatious guest-room with en suite bathroom with shower, super-speed wifi and even a small balcony this was much more easy and pleasurable than expected. I would always go there again. Neighbourhood is perfectly safe, extremely easy (walking straight on) you get to the centre in 15 min or with several busses. No hotel would have been better! Thanks so much T.!

  • My 3 nights at Tracey's were great. The room is HUGE, with nice en-suite and balcony. She even gave us use of her laptop for the weekend and leaflets of good attractions & things to do. Lovely location, 20-minute walk to Dublin Bay, an area most people probably don't get to explore. Tracey is also a very laid back, friendly host. She even gave me dried fruit with my tea instead of biscuits, knowing that I was here for the Dublin Marathon and in to my healthy eating! All in all, a very comfortable stay!

  • I stayed with Tracey for one night on my way to England. Her apartment is lovely. The guest room is huge, with en suite shower and the bed is fabulous. So comfortable. It was hard to get up in the morning. Also a lap top for guests to use with free WiFi. This is a great place to stay if you are travelling to or from Ireland by ferry as it is near Dublin port.

  • Great place: located within walking distance of the center of Dublin. Nice, big and clean room. Tracey is friendly and helpful. This was a great experience. There was a laptop to use and free WiFi. Additional bonus: a big terrace with a view and a balcony. The place was very easy to find from the airport. I recommend it!

  • It's the best option: good location and nice room (very big and clean, so much better than in lots of hotel I've been in), and Tracey is a really good host. We are very happy of this experience, and thanks to Tracey our first taste of Dublin has been great!
