The Architect's Spacious Loft 1

Apartment - Private room · Godthåbsvej, Frederiksberg, Capital Region of Denmark 2000, Denmark

The Space

Top floor with lots of light. Very beautiful and serene with a high ceiling, original details and Danish design furniture.
60 m2/645 ft2 private room in 200m2/2150ft2 large apartment.

This house is in the back yard, and very quiet. Super friendly neighbourhood, cafés, speciality shops and a both a large park + zoo and a smaller botanical garden. There's an indoor pool across the street with a gym and spa.
The owner of Noma (World's best restaurant) has a very affordable deli just down the street. Look up "Claus Meyer". Also enjoy one of the best coffee in town at The Coffee Collective Roastery & Coffee Shop.
When you book I'll email you a custom-made guide to my favorite things in Copenhagen.

There's a bus just outside the door, or walk 5 minutes to the metro. Although everything is easiest by bike in Copenhagen.

Large new kitchen + bathroom shared with 1-2 permanent residents.
The apartment is large, and you don't hear the other person staying here, as the rooms are at each end of the apartment. Also, there's a lock on the door to the room.

Suitable for 2 people. The bed is 160 cm wide. Fast wireless internet, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, etc.
I'll be happy to custom make a guide to meet your interests in Copenhagen.

  • The room is just fantastic!

I was there for one week, Frederikke was not there during my stay but she gave me all the information needed to find everything and a lot of tips to enjoy the city.

The flat is clean and quiet and the flatmates are nice.

    I would go again!!

  • Big bright roo with lovely design, bathroom not great but no problems sharing it or kitchen for making coffee or storing food in the kitchen.

Fredricke is a very helpful host and has a great sense of design, Enjoyed breakfast at Meyers deli and her restaurant recommendations. Loved Copenhagen and biking the streets and seeing all the wonderful design!

  • Awesome flat! We loved it there! The room was very light, clean and decorated beautifully. Absolutely no disturbances from sound or anything else, since it is located on the back side of a building. We're totally in love with the place and would find it suitable for a quick Copenhagen gettaway at any time of the year. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance of the city and right in the middle of all the nice shops, restaurants and cafés on Frederiksberg. The host was great: very helpful and sweet, both at arrival and during our stay. I can only give my warmest recommendations to the host and whoever is is going to be staying there in the future! You're in for a treat!

  • We stayed for a long weekend in Copenhagen in July.

Frederikke was not here during our stay, but left us a lovely note on the table. She was really helpful before our stay, indicating everything we had to know for a perfect stay.

The loft is charming, clean and quiet, as described !

  • In the weekend of June 14/15/16 we've stayed in Copenhagen. The appartment from Fredikke at Frederiksberg is very interesting for a weekend stay. Nice and clean in good area. We had a warm welcome with Frederikke, and after we could stay and use in freedom the appartment. I can recommend this to anyone. Grtz. Theo&Mariëlle

  • We had a most enjoyable long weekend in Copenhagen. What a delightful, charming city! And to stay at Frederikkes place was a top decision! The loft is well located, clean, bright, tidy, stylish in an individual way and very cosy. We enjoyed the atmosphere and felt at home instantly. So we can highly recommend this place and we always would choose it again. Fredderike is a very nice, helpful and warm person. It was great meeting her.

  • We had such a fantastic stay at Frederrike's beautiful apartment. It looks just like the photos and she has great taste in furniture and design :) The flat is really comfortable and a great place to retire to after a busy day in Copenhagen. There were three of us and she was very accommodating, leaving us a blow up mattress and spare mattress and linen, towels etc. there's even a shelf in the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner etc for guests, and a bowl of snacks and teabags. None of which we were expecting so was a lovely surprise! The apartment is very easy to get to / from town - a bus (2A) goes from outside the flat to the centre. We met Frederikke v briefly and she was lovely and v hospitable. Thanks for a great stay!

  • This is a beautiful space in a cool part of time. And Frederikke is a wonderful host with an abundance of information about what to do, see and eat in town! I only wish I had more time to check out more of her recommendations.

  • I stayed at Frederikke's apartment for two weeks. My husband was with me for the first week. The location was very convenient for me, as I was working just down the street, but her apartment is also very close to many different types of restaurants and stores. Everything I needed was within a short walking distance, including access to public transportation. You could even walk to the shopping center east of town/Tivoli, though it is a rather long walk. Meyer's deli is a fantastic (but slightly pricey) coffee shop just a couple of blocks away with an extremely friendly staff. Frederikke and her roommate Uffe were very friendly, respectful, and polite, and I didn't feel like I was imposing on their space. There is a shared bathroom, but this never posed a problem for my husband and me (again, very polite/respectful host!).

It's (website hidden) I travel a lot - both with my work, to visit friends and just to discover new places, cultures and people. I get around in Europe on a monthly basis, and have been in North America and Asia. The next place I'd like to explore is Argentina. Let me know if you have any good advice. My great passion is yoga, and I'm currently doing an Anusara yoga teacher training. Feel free to borrow the yoga mats at my home. I speak Danish, English, Swedish and quite a lot German.
