This is everything (email hidden)! It started by the fact that I called Marcos an hour before I arrived. He didn't know I was intending to come... His wife rushed to clean and left a heavy smell of cleaning materials. The apartment not is literally on one mile road, so the noise is like sleeping on the pavement. I had to buy earplugs... There are also no shades on the windows so I woke up at 4 am... The water broke once and you need to work hard with the keys in order to open the doors. I rent through Airbnb almost every week but this was the worst of then...

Positives: Flat was clean, conveniently located, and well equipped with kitchen, utensils, fridge, etc. Internet worked great.
Cons: As some others have mentioned, the entry way to the building is a little dingy, but for me the bigger problem was how difficult it was to move through... the heavy doors in the hallway hit both of my daughters in the head on several occasions. Some things in the flat weren't working that well ... the shower head had to be handheld because the mount for it was not secure. The hot water heater had some issues ... two minutes into a shower, hot water would completely sieze up. The hardware on the door to the bedroom has a little chip and I twice scratched myself on it.
Those things I do consider fairly minor, however. For the price, the space was comfortable and, as I said, very conveniently located. I would not stay at it again, however, or at any property of Marcos' though, because he was very inflexible with check out. I understand it is his right to do so, but when I asked him about being able to just keep the bags in the flat for a couple of extra hours after 11:00, because our flight wasn't leaving until 17:40, he told me that it wasn't possible because someone was checking in on the day we checked out. According to Air BNB, his guests weren't checking in until the following day.
Whether or not he was lying or Air BnB just had a misprint, that would be my one caution. We were a larger group with many bags, so any other option for stowing bags so time consuming to pull off that it didn't make the cost of it worth it, so we had to spend our entire last day in London at the airport. Flexibility can be very important.
Very clean flat and Marcos is really nice and helpfull!
