Also means you have access to fresh eggs. We also have a growing vegetable and fruit garden on premise. We just built a custom deck/patio which is covered by an amazing canopy of trees creating a cool and shaded environment. The space has been great for morning coffee, relaxing, working, and dining.

We're not really a hotel so when staying with us, consider yourself part of the household and make yourself at home. Alway enjoy good company.
I stayed with Jerry from mid May to early August, and what a summer it was! I had a great time staying with Jerry and I'll especially miss Tina and Mosley. The room was great and staying in a house rather than an apartment was really nice... Only five blocks to the train station and then another five minutes to downtown... So close! I would definitely stay at Jerry's again, I felt so welcomed and had a great summer in Houston!
Jerry was a great host, I had the best time, the room was large, and the people where great, it was like visiting family, I would love to come back.
Warm welcome, nice & cozy room. Jerry's family & friends became mine. I loved playing with the dog & the cat. I feel at home at Jerry's place and I hope next time I will come there will be room for me!
Awww Carole, thank you for the nice review. Carole has been a great addition to our house and as well as a resourceful one, offering all her knowledge in the various areas she is familiar with. As she mentioned, we've been blessed to have great guests like her that have become part of our family and friends. Always welcome back here!!
I was lucky enough to secure a room at Jerry's and ended up staying well over 4 months in what i would truly describe as a "home away from home" ! The place is fantastic, it is ideally located in a fast changing neighborhood, minutes from Montrose and other happening parts of Midtown, some of which are actually within walking distance.
The house itself has so much going for it - old Houston charm, comfortable rooms with ample storage space, a huge kitchen, Apple TV around the house and in the rooms, excellent wifi, a garden complete with lovely pets and a great new addition : a spacious wooden deck that will add more living space...under the trees.
The bathroom is shared with the other guest but it has never been an issue. In short, Jerry's house is probably one of Houston's best kept secret !
Jerry is a well traveled, successful entrepreneur - He has a talent for hospitality and you'll feel welcome the moment you step in. He is also genuinely interested in people, and often has friends dropping by, some of whom happened to stay there as guests. I also look forward to coming back soon !
Jerry was a really great host. He is very nice, friendly and welcoming. He picked up us from the bus station, offered us any help.
His house is awesome, very stylish and beautiful. We had a private room with big comfortable bed. He prepared for us terry soft towers (one big and one small), bottles of water and small chocolates.
Location is good, near downtown (30 minutes walk) and museum district. It looks safe and pretty.
We couldn't have ask for a better spot.
I recommend it to everyone.
Thank you, Jerry, so much!!!
clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable room in an unbeatable location - close to both Hobby and IAH airports, and superclose to downtown.
Jerry is the best host I've ever stayed with - friendly, hilarious, a great cook, and excellent tour guide.
I flew into Houston for the most important interview of my life, and Jerry drove me to my interview, to the airport afterwards, and even helped me brush up on local sports teams! :)
I would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Houston in the future.
