About this listing

Modern, bright, top floor penthouse apartment overlooking John's Lane Church in the heart of the city. Close to many popular tourist attractions including Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublinia, and Dublin Zoo.

The space

The penthouse offers modern, bright open plan accommodation. There are two bedrooms(one en-suite) a large sitting room, fully fitted kitchen and a separate bathroom. It has the added benefit of a large roof terrace.
Many of Dublin's great tourist attractions are within walking distance of the Apartment. One of Dublin's popular music venues Vicars St is only 100 m away. While The Temple Bar area and Dublin's oldest Pub "The Brazen Head" are close by. The airport bus stops just a short walk from the Apartment.

Guest access

This is a private, self-contained penthouse. The main front door is shared with three other apartments in the building. There are no residential units either side of the building but it is in a residential area.

Interaction with guests

I interact with my guests as much as possible. I don't reside in the listing but I am just a phone call away. I was born and bred in Dublin and I have a great interest in the City and would be glad to share my intimate knowledge of Dublin with you.

Location was great and Patrick had excellent communication, the place was as advertised and I appreciated Patrick letting us store our luggage when we got there early.

The flat is lovely, clean and comfortable. There is a roof terrace with a bench and chairs which we didn't get to use due to adverse weather conditions. The kitchen is well equipped, handy for a cooked breakfast before a long day's sightseeing. Location wise the flat is about 200 yards from the Brazen's Head, which is great for food and live music and about a 10 minute walk from the Guinness Storehouse. Temple Bar is about 20 minutes walk away.

The apartement is very central, only a 5 minute walk to Christ Church and other sights. Grocery stores, cafés and bars are also just a few minutes away. The apartement is nice and was very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Great spacious place close to bus stops and most of the tourist places. Would stay there in a heart beat. Please be aware that there is a construction site next door, no work going on while we were there, but some of the view is blocked with a plywood barrier. We thought the view of the church would have been great if not for the wood. We were able to show up early and stay, thank you, thank you! With two bathrooms, the location, and access to transportation, this place is great!

Great location to the main sites of Dublin. Communication was easy with Patrick. Please note that no shower gel or body soap was provided. Also, water heater was not adequate for last of three people to take a hot shower, in fact it was cold. Water pressure was also lacking. Toilet paper was only provided in one of the bathrooms and bathrooms were not very clean. One of the bathrooms had a strong odor of sewer smells.
