Rooms #1 and #2: Large space with two rooms, each with a double bed. The rooms are separated by a large French door and curtains. Each room has its private entrance.
If you are looking for a large place to host a group, for a family gathering or other, this is the perfect place for you!
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO PARTY THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. WE HAVE A VERY STRICT RULE REGARDING THE NOISE. NO LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE WILL BE TOLERATED AFTER 11PM.
The place has 7 rooms each with a double bed so can accommodate up to 14 people. Two are quadruple rooms, each having their own entrance and separated by a door. There is a fully-equiped kitchen, a comfy living area and a large dining room. There are two full bathrooms (shower/bath/toilet) and an extra toilet next to the living room.
In the summer, we run the place as a B & B but if you plan ahead maybe you can have the whole place yo yourselves. Note (after some comments from guests) that if you rent the whole place you will have the whole place to yourselves, no one staying there.
The place is beautiful. It has been fully restored with respect to the heritage of the building. It is literaly 2 minutes from the closest subway station (Beaubien), in the heart of a cool neighborhood (Little Italy), and walking distance (20 minutes) from the Mile end, the new cool area. It is 3 subway stations (or 10$ taxi ride) away from the Plateau, Montreal's hippest and liveliest neighborhood. Also, since the subway is so close you will get to Old Montreal in 10 minutes and downtown in 20.
You'll definitely enjoy the place!

We have neighbours so you must respect that, which means to lower the noise from 11pm onwards. If not, you basically make yourselves at home, so simply take care of the place.
We ask a 250$ cash deposit that we return after inspection when you leave.
Our stay here was fantastic. Jean was great with communication and making us feel welcome. The location is close to the metro, bars (Bruno's and Vices & Versa!) and restaurants and Jean Talon Market. The apartment has a lot of character, was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Would recommend to any large group!
This was my first time using AirBnB and It couldn't have gone any smoother. We rented out the whole place for 14 people traveling from Boston and everyone was more than satisfied. Jean was very responsive and accommodating to all. The neighborhood was chic, parking was simple, and the house was only a 2 minute walk to the Metro.
The place was everything advertised and more. The back deck was an especially nice surprise, given that we had perfect weather. We had a group of nine and plenty of space for all of us. It's a little ways away from the city, but with a metro stop 3 minutes walk, we didn't mind it. Plus, there was plenty of on-street parking.
Merci, Jean and Greg!
What an amazing house and location. The house surpassed expectations. It was very spacious and with many creature comforts. Lots of space for quiet and private time, but also lots of areas for group gathering. At no time did our large group feel as though we were getting in each other's way. Bonus points were the outdoor dining area and a huge fruit and vegetable market within 10 minutes walk. Greg and Jean were responsive and friendly. If you have worries about what this space might be like, put them aside. This place lives up to its billing.
Definitely surpassed our expectations. Cleaner and more spacious (high ceilings) than the photos suggest, and there is a playground open after-school hours next door that was a god send with children.
We had a large group of adults and children and had no problem fitting into this space. A large outdoor patio (also not pictured) was an added bonus.
The neighborhood (which we weren't very familiar with) also exceeded expectations. Had a less touristy and more unpretentious vibe than Plateau. The Jean Talon market 5 blocks away is unreal. We all brought bikes and used the trails on Rue Berri and Rue St. Urbain (a few blocks away in either direction) as our thruways for the one-week visit.
Very accommodating, nice apt...watch out for the front deck railing! Altogether good experience.
My friends and I just returned from our trip to Montreal and this apartment made for one of the best vacations we've ever had. This place really is absolutely perfect for a large group -- in all honesty, we were stunned that we somehow landed such an ideal spot for such a great price. We were a group of 16 college students on spring break and this place provided everything we needed -- a well-equipped kitchen, many clean and furnished bedrooms, and a great location near the Metro (which allowed us to explore the whole city quite easily) and many cafes, shops, restaurants, and markets. There was plenty of space for us to spend time all together in the dining area and the kitchen was large enough for several of us to cook in. Jean and Greg were very helpful and quick to respond before and during the trip. I can hardly compliment the place enough! We truly couldn't have had the same experience anywhere else -- thank you so much for the amazing trip!
