About This Listing
Welcome to your spacious 3br/2bth fully restored character home located in the vibrant & hip Mission district. This apartment has two large bedrooms and a smaller third with a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living room spilling onto the deck.
This apartment is the upper in a two-unit 1908 house in the Mission District.
Fully renovated in 2014 with all new fixtures and fittings, the front of the apartment houses three bedrooms: two very spacious rooms with Queen beds and a comfortable third room with a Double bed. One of the bedrooms has a full bath/shower en-suite. Another bedroom has a desk & chair with views of the quiet residential tree-lined street.
The large open-plan living area at the back of the house has a fully equipped new modern kitchen and dining space, including a 6-seater dining table. We love to cook so you'll find everything you need there. There is a second full bathroom with a large new washer and dryer. The kitchen flows into the living room with its giant sofa, large flat-screen TV, BOSE sound system, cable, wifi and home phone - you can make unlimited calls within the US.
The final perk - large glass sliding doors give you access to a private deck and outdoor seating. Sip wine overlooking the views of Potrero Hill accompanied by our very active local birds. Hummingbirds are daily visitors here.
Full exclusive access to the upstairs apartment in this two apartment building.

We love being hosts and sharing our patch of San Francisco with guests. All we expect is for guests to treat our apartment with respect and care. We love animals but unfortunately can't have them in our home so please no pets. No smoking indoors of any kind, there is a deck which you can smoke on. Be respectful to our neighbors and keep it reasonably quiet after 10pm.
Had a great time in this home - great location for exploring the Mission and nearby to fun shops & restaurants. We took the Bart and cabs to North Beach and the Ferry Building - was fast and easy. Description was accurate - we were pleasantly surprised by the airy, spacious feel to the home and everything was immaculate! Fun to hear & see all of the birds from the back deck. Wonderfully equipped, open kitchen meant all of us could comfortably hang out. Marshka was very responsive the few times we had questions. I would stay here again in a minute!
Great apartment! Exactly as pictured. Mashka is very nice and communicated well whenever I had a question. The location of the apartment is great, near many great bars and restaurants and will give you that home away from home feeling. You must try Flour + Water restaurant, located just a couple of blocks away as well as Urban Putt! Would definitely stay again
The beautiful flat in Mission is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk to Mission's busier streets with restaurants and bars. It is equipped with everything you might possibly need and the rooms are spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the deck is lovely to enjoy the sun. Warmly recommended! Marshka is a lovely host, she was always quick to respond and very flexible regarding spontaneous requests. Will definitely reach out again for our next trip.
Cool, hipster neighborhood. Reminded me a lot of Logan Square back home in Chicago. Lots of great restaurants nearby and nightlife. Public trans and getting to the airport is super easy. The house was comfortable and accurately described. We had no issues to speak of and would come back again.
Marshka was an incredible host! She was so accommodating with any requests we had, and was very communicative. The listing is a lovely listing in an amazing neighborhood. It was very clean and we felt right at home. I can't recommend Marshka and her listing enough!
The place was just as described. Large, well decorated, clean. Love this area of the Mission with Sightglass coffee just down the block. Marshka had great communication and was an excellent host.

About the Host, Marshka
Australian food-obsessed cheesemonger, living on a sunny street in San Francisco. My husband Matt and I love travelling, eating, eating, cooking and travelling...and eating. We love cities, with the occasional rural escape (usually in pursuit of some exotic lunch). We thoroughly enjoy being Airbnb hosts as well as guests.
I'm currently discovering the science, luck and magic involved in nurturing an edible garden, with mixed success. Watching your garden grow is so time consuming!
