Nestled among four trees with a wraparound deck, this cozy pup friendly treehouse features a full bed nook, a double loft with a queen and twin bed, a comfy couch, and a full kitchenette. Large windows bring in natural light. A slide off the deck leads to swings, an oversized star gazing net, rock wall, slackline, climber dome, skate swing challenge and trail head that leads to twenty miles of themed trails! 285 acres of over ten miles of rolling trails for all levels. You can hike, walk or mountain bike (for intermediate). There is a kids fishing pond. A three person hammock on hidden trail and 10 hobbit tree houses to find hidden in the trees on Hobbit trail. Find the tree pod along cabana trail. Gaze at the stars in our natural observatory

Other things to note
Augusta ky is one of the coolest towns in ky. and only 15 mins from our location. Our favorites is Ninas - George Clooney's mom- antique shop. To eat we recommend the Augusta pub for more laid back and the Beehive for more fine dining. Afterwards take the ferry across the river into Ripley for ice cream. Head towards bridge into maysville and stop at parc cafe - Italy replica cafe. Or lil jumbo for take home delicious breakfast meal.

**A percentage of every stay at EarthJoy Village goes directly to Cleo’s Legacy, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit and 100% volunteer-run rescue dedicated to saving underdogs and the overlooked; homeless dogs and kittens who deserve a second chance at life.

Important Update Effective November 1, 2025
Private bathrooms will transition to an open bathhouse concept. Guests will have access to three shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen sink, all conveniently located by the farmhouse and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fresh towels will be supplied to each rental for your comfort.

Earthjoy was established in 2007 as a tree climbing company. In 2015 the Pete Nelson treehouse was built and known as the Kentucky Climbers Cottage on Animal Planet ( season 4 episode 6) Earthjoy has been featured on KET TV twice, Cinnanati magazine and nominated best place to stay in bourbon wilderness trail. When you book a stay you also get private access to magical, maintained 285 acres of themed trails of varying levels of difficulty.
