This is a 1920's "great house" with swimming pool and heated spa at a premier address. House has high ceilings, grand rooms, an attic suite, and three porches. There is a cook's kitchen, gas BBQ, and driveway parking. It's about 5,000 sq. ft. Ansley Park is a prestigious Atlanta neighborhood, comparable to Boston's Beacon Hill or Manhattan's Upper West Side. It is part of greater Midtown. Location is close to Piedmont Park, Georgia Tech, SCAD, High Museum, freeways, and the big law firms.

The space
The ground floor features 5 big rooms. The large entrance foyer opens to the signature staircase. To your right upon entering is the library, which features a wall of built-in bookshelves. To your left upon entering is the formal living room, which then connects to the dining room. Perhaps the grandest room is the kitchen, which has a large island, a big seating area, a Viking stove, and lots of room for entertaining. Also on this floor is a screened-in sitting porch with a hanging bed, a side porch with a gas grill, and a generous Southern front porch. There is a powder room, too.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms, each with its own full bath. Rooms are large and well-lighted. As with the first floor, there are hardwoods throughout. Two of the three bedrooms have their own "en suite" (master) bathrooms, while the third bedroom can access the hall bath.

The fourth bedroom is actually an entire attic suite. The attic is a beautifully remodeled penthouse with hardwood floors, a full bath, an independent HVAC zone, and lots of skylights.

Since the photos were taken, most walls are now white and the piano has been replaced by a 55" flat screen TV.

Parking: two parallel off-street spots (and more, if cars are parked in a chain down the driveway.)

Owners generally will not be in town during rentals. We are immediately available by phone, however. We try to do the handover in person, otherwise keys are left in a lockbox.
