The Space

Almanii B&B is a family run B&B in Dublin City. We have 4 rooms available. These are twins or doubles. either sharing or single occupancy. We can also accommodate groups of up to 11. As this is our home you get to experience a liitle bit of what it;s like in an Irish home, it is personal and we offer a wide range of facilities free of charge at the B&B. WiFi, tea/coffee, parking and we can also organize personalized walking trips of Dublin city for those who are interested. All rooms are ensuite, flat screen TV's, rooms serviced each day and light breakfast is included. Delicious home cooked breakfasts from our menu are available at an additional cost of €5.00 euro per person if you would like to avail of this option.

We are ideally situated between Dublin Airport and the City Centre with easy access by public transport to both. We invite you to experience staying in a traditional Irish home :-)

Dublin City University (DCU) , The HELIX, St. Pats Teaching College, Morton Stadium, Croke Park, Beaumont & Mater Hospitals & Omni Shopping Centre are all within 10 minutes of the B&B. There is a launderette across the street and some beautiful local parks to wander around.

Dublin is a city that everyone raves about. Displaced locals get all misty-eyed about the pubs, the craic, the hilarious, friendly people they left behind.
So make a detour down that side street, spend a few hours trailing through the parks and gardens, take your time in the museums, talk to people in the pubs, watch a hurling match, ride the DART out of town to Howth, Dalkey and Malahide, catch a play, or just sit on the Liffey boardwalk and let it all pass you by.

Whatever you decide to do, you can rest assured that at least one of the clichés about this city really is true: Dublin genuinely does have something for everyone.

  • I stayed for one night very short to get the bus in the next morning. Mary, her husband and the children are very friendy! Next time in Dublin I'll go there again.

  • My brother and I stayed here for nine days and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts wonderful. We enjoyed Mary and her family immensely. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the bus stop with a choice of four buses to bring us to the City Centre or Abby Street. There are several places for dinner within walking distance, our favorite being the Beaumont Restaurant. Mary is the perfect host, offering us suggestions for places to see and calling us cabs if we wanted an early start. And, as a final gesture of kindness, she drove us to the airport because the cab was late and she knew I was getting nervous about the time.

  • We had a perfect stay at Mary's B&B.
The room was nice, welcoming and warm. Also Mary is an amazing host, who makes a very nice breakfast.
This is a verry well organized B&B.
In fact the best B&B we stayed at in Ireland!

  • From the first moment of contact Mary was great - very responsive on messages - very helpful with directions etc - its really easy to find from the airport and the city centre - just a short bus journey! She also helped me a little with my planning and was very flexible about my late arrival - offering me a cup of tea and helping me arrange a take away delivery! We had a great chat and she personifies hospitality - i know if i was new to Dublin i think Mary would certainly steer me in the right direction!

Her house is very comfortable and the room was just as displayed - very comfortable, with ensuite, and lovely furnishings. Topped off with a lovely home cooked breakfast, available at a small extra charge, over the continental breakfast which is included - i was well set up for my day!

Definately i will strongly recommend Mary as a great addition to the airbnb family!

Hi there ! Well I introduce myself to lots of new people every day as I run a Bed and Breakfast in Dublin City. It keeps me very busy and I live here with my family and my wee dog :-). I get to meet people from all over the world and love exchanging stories and tit bits of info with those who wish to chat. In my spare time I like to keep fit, I teach self defence to adults and children which I love doing. So as you can see everything I do is based around people.....good job I like them :-). I enjoy a nice meal and cinema and love the outdoors. There are lots of nice places in Dublin city and the surrounding area where you can spend the day walking and exploring. Some lovely beaches too. My favorite walk is probably Howth head which is a small fishing village just on the outskirts of Dublin city - you can feed the seals here and enjoy the beautiful walk around Howth head. So that's a little about me. I would like to welcome you into my home and hope you enjoy your stay with us. Dublin is a fantastic city to visit :-)
