Dublin is a city that everyone raves about. Displaced locals get all misty-eyed about the pubs, the craic, the hilarious, friendly people they left behind.
So make a detour down that side street, spend a few hours trailing through the parks and gardens, take your time in the museums, talk to people in the pubs, watch a hurling match, ride the DART out of town to Howth, Dalkey and Malahide, catch a play, or just sit on the Liffey boardwalk and let it all pass you by.

Whatever you decide to do, you can rest assured that at least one of the clichés about this city really is true: Dublin genuinely does have something for everyone.

  • I absolutely can recommend this B&B. I stayed there for one week, and it was a great time. The room is totally tidy and clean, the people are super friendly. It is very close to public transport system, but quiet in the night! Close to the airport (10 min) and to the city centre (O'Connell street) as well (20 minutes).

  • It was a graet pleasure to stay at Mary´s Almanii B & B. Mary is so kindly and helpfully. The flat is cosy, clean and fine and the connections to Dublin City and Dublin Airport are favorable. I've spend a good time - so I can recommend this place absolutley. I would like to come back any time.

  • Mary was not there when we arrived, but we met her husband and he was a very delightful man. He greeted us by name and showed us our room. We met Mary the next day for breakfast. She was very polite and friendly. Mary is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She was helpful with directions to everything we asked her about. Our room was very pleasant with a great window looking out over the garden. Everything is right at your disposal. Bus stop, store, Pub, and laundry mat just across the street. Breakfast was very nice, she had great selection of cerals, but offered the traditional Irish breakfast which looked awesome. We were always wanting to get up and out so not to miss this terrific city life of Ireland. Next time we will eat the traditional breakfast she offered. We loved Mary, she made us feel so welcome. We can not wait to return to Dublin. Three days are not enough to see this beautiful land.

  • I stayed with Mary on November 24 and 25th. She was so kind to me, letting me check in early. I was so glad, as I was totally exhausted. Then on my final day, I was late leaving as | was being picked up after normal check out time. The children are kind to visitors. I have to stay in Dublin on my way back and I hope there is a room at her comfortable and hospitable B and B. Thank you so much for everything.

    Sincerely, Judi

Thanks Dean, glad you enjoyed it , your welcome back any time :-)

  • I was only in Dublin for a short time but I enjoyed my stay at Mary's B and B. It is located right on the bus route and Mary provided guidance on getting to and from the airport and the city center from the B and B. The room was very nice and just as it appeared in the pictures. There was a shopping center just a short walk from the B and B and the neighborhood was nice for a morning run.

  • We had a lovely stay with at Almanii B&B albeit only brief. Mary was so kind and helpful in getting ourselves organised for a camping trip and we felt immediately at home. Especially loved her sweet little dog, Jolly.

About
Hi there ! Well I introduce myself to lots of new people every day as I run a Bed and Breakfast in Dublin City. It keeps me very busy and I live here with my family and my wee dog :-). I get to meet people from all over the world and love exchanging stories and tit bits of info with those who wish to chat. In my spare time I like to keep fit, I teach self defence to adults and children which I love doing. So as you can see everything I do is based around people.....good job I like them :-). I enjoy a nice meal and cinema and love the outdoors. There are lots of nice places in Dublin city and the surrounding area where you can spend the day walking and exploring. Some lovely beaches too. My favorite walk is probably Howth head which is a small fishing village just on the outskirts of Dublin city - you can feed the seals here and enjoy the beautiful walk around Howth head. So that's a little about me. I would like to welcome you into my home and hope you enjoy your stay with us. Dublin is a fantastic city to visit :-)
