The appartment was great, love the decoration and use of space, looks as pretty as the pictures. Jenny was really nice, she answered promptly to all of my enquiries. Would definitely recommend.
The reservation was canceled 22 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Jenny was very responsive and even though we did not meet her, she left us a nice note!
The location was perfect for our stay and the apartment is very cute.
This apartment is so beautiful, I would like to live there! It really looks like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and welcomed by Jenny. It is so nice to be able to experience a city from a more casual point of view, with making your own breakfasts and also being able to just sit back and chill for an evening. I am so happy with my first AirBnB experience. Jenny was super nice and helpful! The only downside might be that the apartment is a little noisy (foot steps/music from above, cars/ambulances from the street). It didn't bother us but if someone is more sensitive to noise it might be a bother to them. But for us, everything was great!!
Jenny was very nice and friendly host, we just met her once but she was easily joinable. The studio was quite well located and functional on the whole. Although Jenny arrived a little late on the first day, she compensated her delay by offering us the taxi on our way back to the train station when we left. Good experience in general!
We were not able to meet Jenny. The house has everything you need: full kitchen/dish washer/washing machine/dryer. (but not shampoo and soap). the Location of the house is good, very near the center and metro.
however, house is located at main road, so we heard the ambulance or fire truck almost once or twice a hour.
Jenny's apartment is a great place to stay -- it's about 10 minutes' walk from the Metro, and not too far a walk from other downtown. Having a fully appointed kitchen and washer/dryer were major pluses too. Jenny was easy to communicate with, and even though I didn't get to meet her in person, she was very helpful in getting me to and into the apartment. Just one note of caution: if you're a light sleeper you may have some difficulties due to some neighborhood noise and thin ceilings, but for the price you can't beat it!
Welcome to my page! I'm delighted to have you visit. I am a Chicago transplant to DC. I love the city and can recommend excellent restaurants and hot spots that you won't find in guidebooks. When I'm not working as an attorney downtown, I enjoy cooking, yoga, music, rockclimbing or cycling, and spending time with friends and family.
In 2011, I traveled to Barcelona, Beijing, Seoul, San Diego, Paris, New York, Ann Arbor, Chicago, and New Orleans. I've lived for extended periods of time in Africa, Eastern Europe, and South America. I know what it's like to need a relaxing respite. I also enjoy experiencing a new city just like people who actually live there rather than being a tourist.
I'm hoping that you'll experience a warm and inviting stay at our apartment in DC!
