Jenny was a great host and there was never an issue with getting in touch with her. The apartment was great! The neighborhood was terrific, particularly for younger folks, as we felt like locals throughout our entire trip. Will certainly recommend this apartment for friends heading to DC!
We had a good time at Jenny's apartment. The place at a very nice location. Close to the convention center. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and they provided clean towels, bed sheets and everything you need for a nice staying. She was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend her apartment.
The Pros: Jenny (she was prompt with replies and getting us any extra we needed), the kitchenette, short walking distance from the Shaw-Howard U metro stop, spaciousness of the apartment, some interesting restaurants nearby.
The Cons: the street noise (earplugs were provided but I don't like using them), the pillows (bring your own if you're picky like me).
Overall, a good find for DC.
The neighborhood was beautiful and a 5 to 10 minute walk to the metro. There was good places to eat within walking distance. The apartment was really nice and the bed was super comfy. Jenny was very accommodating and made sure I checked in ok. She also responded quickly to texts.
The appartment was great, love the decoration and use of space, looks as pretty as the pictures. Jenny was really nice, she answered promptly to all of my enquiries. Would definitely recommend.
About the Host, Jenny
Welcome to my page! I'm delighted to have you visit. I am a Chicago transplant to DC. I love the city and can recommend excellent restaurants and hot spots that you won't find in guidebooks. When I'm not working as an attorney downtown, I enjoy cooking, yoga, music, rockclimbing or cycling, and spending time with friends and family.
In 2011, I traveled to Barcelona, Beijing, Seoul, San Diego, Paris, New York, Ann Arbor, Chicago, and New Orleans. I've lived for extended periods of time in Africa, Eastern Europe, and South America. I know what it's like to need a relaxing respite. I also enjoy experiencing a new city just like people who actually live there rather than being a tourist.
I'm hoping that you'll experience a warm and inviting stay at our apartment in DC!
