The nature reserve, the wonderful snorkeling in Marigot Bay.
there is no public transport in St Barthelemy so we always encourage our guests to rent a car. Taxi's are available to book in advance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ah Le Bonheur! We would certainly stay there again and have already recommended it to others. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and spacious-- true to the pictures. Guests have everything they need, from plenty of bath and beach towels, washer and dryer, kitchen utensils, phone, beach chairs and grill! We could not have been more comfortable and relaxed.
Guy was incredibly responsive and helpful prior to travel and Karina and Yan Take care of the property and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. They provided us with restaurant recommendations, who to talk to for different activities on the island, boat rentals, ferry, rental car, etc. They are very responsive and able to help with any issues at hand.
The location of the villa across from Marigot Bay is beautiful! Our favorite spot. It's a quick ride into St Jean and Gustavia, and seconds away from The Guanahani and Le Toiny hotels.

Guy and Mondira were very helpful and attentive about making sure our stay was special. The caretakers Karine and Yan picked us up from the ferry and made sure our car rental was set up. Karine gave us great recommendations and (website hidden) Barth is an amazing place but without help it would be difficult to find all the best places! Local knowledge made our trip to SBH incredible and we are already planning to come back to this beautiful island. The house was clean and well kept, and the kitchen was great for cooking. The internet is very fast. It was great that the cleaners came daily and always made sure we had clean towels. The location is great. Some reviews had mentioned that the beach by the house is not the best. Well, even some of the nicest resorts on the island do not have nice beaches. The island is small and there are several world class beaches a short drive from the house (house is centrally located which is great). It is imperative to have a car in SBH and exploring different beaches and restaurants is part of the beauty of the island. If you're looking for a "resort" vacation where you stay in one place the whole time, perhaps you should go somewhere else! We loved the property and plan to return soon.
My boyfriend and I stayed in this cozy apartment for six days. We were warmly greeted by Jan at the ferry, and accompanied to the apartment. He gave us great dining recommendations. The apartment is just perfect. The pictures very accurately reflect the space. We loved the kitchen, which is quite specious and very well equipped. The little terrace is great for hanging out and grilling fresh fish which could be bought several hundred meters from the house. This apartment would be great for a family, since there are two childrens rooms upstairs. It is a good location, right by the beach, and the sound of the waves combined with birds’ song will make you feel (website hidden). Barts is a gorgeous island and this charming apartment was a great value!
