Large studio, decorated with taste, ideally located in the heart of the St. Antoine neighborhood, within the former convent dating from the 18th century, across from the famous Aligre street market, near Bastille and Le Marais, very quiet with view and direct access to a flowered courtyard. This is your perfect Parisian “pied-à-terre” for an immersion in the parisian bourgeois bohemian life. You will love it!
The studio is fully furnished and equipped with Nespresso machine, microwave oven, flat screen TV, iron & ironing board, and Wifi. It is in pristine conditions.
Everything is within few steps:
- Transportations: metro (Faidherbe Chaligny, Bastille), bus
- Grocery shopping: street market everyday (except on Monday),
- Excellent restaurants such as L’Ebauchoir ((website hidden)), Le Bistro Paul Bert (18 rue Paul Bert), Le Square Trousseau ((website hidden)), and Bars
- Fantastic patisseries
- Fabulous shopping (Isabelle Marant, Merci, Le Marais...)
The place is fantastic, the location is fabulous so no need to look elsewhere, you found your home in Paris!
Hope to hear from you soon.
St. Antoine is like a piece of quiet within the center of Paris, we ask the tenant to respect this tranquility.
Indoor private parking is available around the block at an additional cost of 100 euros/week or 20 euros/day
This was my second stay at Carole's studio in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. All the reasons I had for choosing to go back were reconfirmed. I love the warmth and charm of the studio, and it is well equipped and very comfortable. Carole was very flexible about my arrival time. I didn't see much of her after that, but that was as much because I had a very busy agenda for my week in Paris as anything else, and I already knew the good places in the neighborhood and other useful facts she might have imparted.
Carole was very welcoming. She gave us a lot of info about places in the neighborhood and how to get around. The studio was comfy, clean and close to the metro. I would definitely recommend staying at Carole's studio!
Recomendado 100%
A fantastic experience all round. Carole was very helpful even though we were 4 hours late and she organised very reasonable parking. Apartment very cool and a perfect size for a couple and small child. It's hidden away from the main road like something from Narnia.
The area was great. We loved it around the Marais and the Bastille. If you're from London then it's very reminiscent of Spittlefields. It's also not too far to Louvre, Seine etc. a great long weekend and a really helpful host.
Carole was very quick to get back to us with any questions we had before the trip (including a very last minute hairdryer question!). Checking in was easy (the flat is well connected with various metro stations) and Carole welcomed us with a smile and gave us some info on places to eat/buy food around the area. The area itself has everything you could need shops wise, it's really close to the Marais (we walked there a few times and it took us less than 10min) and well served by the metro. The flat was very clean, cozy and super cute! We loved it and there was ample space for the 2 of us. It is totally quiet at night as you have to go through 2 courtyards t get to the studio, and it's very safe too. The shower was amazing and exactly what we needed after a day's walk. I would highly recommend Carole's place and in fact we have already done so to my in-laws! I am sure we will go back again, hopefully soon as we absolutely adored Paris and did not want to leave!
We had a great stay, in a great part of Paris! Everything we wanted to see was with in walking distance. Mind you we needed to walk to keep the beautiful food we ate off the hips! The host Carole is a wonderful host that helped us every step of the way in a new country. To be honest we expect less and got a whole lot more. We will be back to Paris and we will stay there again. 10/10 it was hard to leave. Thank you Carole
Carole warmly greeted me upon my arrival, explained everything about the house and neighborhood and made herself available when needed. Her apartment was everything that it looks like in the pictures. I fell in love with the area and can't wait to stay there again. Thank you Carole!
My name is Carole. I am married and I have 2 adorable young children. I was born and raised in Paris but I lived in the US and in Spain for several years. I have been back to Paris for about 6 years now and I just love it. You will too!!
