The space
Lovely self contained flat close to the Leeds city centre.

The house was built in 1900. We have tried to retain some of the original features when converting the top floor in to the flat.

We are reasonably close to the city centre. 10 minutes on the bus or a short 30 minute stroll along the canal by foot.

|Things to do in Leeds|

We have compiled a list of our favourite things to do in Leeds, but we are sure you will discover many more!

Visit the Royal Armouries Museum:
Britain's national museum of arms and armour brings history to life for a fun family day out.
The museum has more than 8,500 objects on display in five galleries: War; Tournament; Oriental; Self Defence and Hunting. The best bit – it's free!

Steep yourself in history:
The Tudor-Jacobean estate of Temple Newsam is an interesting and informative day out. The estate was once owned by Henry VIII and is home to Europe's largest rare breeds farm.

Marvel at the amazing architecture:
Leeds is not only a historically rich city, but also boasts some of the most beautiful architecture in Britain. The Leeds Town Hall and the Victoria Quarter and the new Trinity shopping centre are must-see buildings.

Go modern at Leeds Art Gallery:
Home to a vast collection of contemporary British art, Leeds Art Gallery proves art can be fun for all ages.

See the final resting place of the Mummy:
Leeds City Museum is a fascinating –and completely free- attraction, with ever-changing special exhibitions and its very own Egyptian Mummy!

Join in with the festivities:
Throughout the year the city comes alive with many festivals and carnivals, from Leeds Festival, Classical Fantasia to Leeds West Indian Carnival.

Shop till you drop:
With over 1,000 shops, Leeds was named the best shopping destination in the UK by the Rough Guide to Britain. If you're looking for fabulous fashion under one roof head to the White Rose Shopping Centre, or bag some designer bargains at the MacArthur Glen Outlet Centre.

Step back in time:
Explore the medieval Cistercian Kirkstall Abbey. The 12th century abbey is set in picturesque parkland along the banks of the River Aire. If you're looking for history, heritage and a haven of wildlife and greenery, a sunny day will be well spent at this free local attraction.

Get Sporty:
Whether you prefer to watch or get involved, Leeds has so much to offer sporting fans. Not only is Leeds home to a world-famous cricket ground, Headingley Carnegie, the city is also proud of its strong rugby heritage, with Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie drawing fans from across the world.

These are just a handful of the great sights the city has to offer.

Hello People!

I'm an all-rounder who gets on well with most people.
My husband, Stephen and I have spent a great deal of time traveling around Asia, but more recently around Europe. We love to travel and always have our passport to hand incase there is an opportunity to take a last minute impromptu trip.

We live literally 2 minutes away from the listing with our Jack-a-bee dog, Jerry.
We are quite sociable and pop in from time to time to make sure everything is ok. We're always available to help answer any question.

We welcome open minded and respectful people in to our house.
Please read our feedback. If you don't find any answers there, please feel free to ask and we'll hopefully see you soon!
