Modern Apartment in Sopot (Gdańsk)

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Polna, Sopot, Pomorskie 81, Poland

The Space

Hi there,

My apartment is located in the most beautiful and peaceful part of Tricity, the charming Sopot. The ideal spot to stay while visiting this part of Poland. It’s a stone’s throw from Gdansk (10min cab drive or a nice stroll along the Baltic coast).

The apartment is in the vicinity of a famous Sopot pier, close to the seaside promenade and the sandy beach, settled in the quiet suburb, cuddled to the local park & green area. The town of Sopot is full of lovely cafeterias, buzzing restaurants, bars and fancy art galleries. If you feel like partying, Sopot is a #1 clubbing spot in Poland, so make sure you give it a go.

As for the place itself, it’s located on the second floor in the 4-story residential block of units with a 24/7 on-site security. The apartment is in the immaculate condition, as we’ve redecorated it recently. 74 square metres accommodate a bright and spacious living room with a balcony, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with a king size bed, a separate sleeping annex adjacent to the kitchen with a double bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub.

All together the place can sleep up to 4 people on two beds.

If you travel by car, you can park your four wheels in the secure underground parking, for no additional cost.

Travelling with kids? We have a portable baby cot and a pram available at no extra charge. There is also an outside playground area separated from car traffic and fenced off within the building complex.

Oh, and of course - the entire apartment is available for rent, I don’t live there, so it’s all for you to kick off your shoes, lean back and enjoy yourself.

Any questions, please contact me via airbnb.

Thanks for visiting.
Have a great day.
Aga

  • Great apppartment: spotless and well equipped, hosts provided basic supplies: milk, water, bread, butter, tea, coffee and condiments. The owners are lovely and made me feel very welcome.
Fantastic location: close to transport and close to the beach.

  • Close to the beach but a bit of a walk to the town Center. Large, modern and very clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen could do with a few extra bits and pieces (tea towels, etc) but overall a pleasant stay. Thanks!

  • I had the pleasure to stay at Agnieszka's apartment while travelling with friends in the north of Poland. We felt very comfortable in this modern place which has everything you need for a short stay. Walking distance to the beach, centre of Sopot and train station made it very easy to move around. If I ever need to stay in Sopot again, I will definitely ask Agnieszka for availability!

  • Me and my wife we soent 13 nights in Agnieszkas apartement in August 2013.
Although we were late by arrival because aof heavy traffic, A. and her family waited longtime for us and managed eversthing with the security.
In the fridge we found food and aomething to drink for the first day, about which we were very lucky because of our late arrival.
The apartment is very calm although only 7 min walk to the beach and also 7 min to the next train station.
The equipment is exactly as in the description, everything works well.
The nearby construction work on new buildings is finished.
    We would certainly com back!

  • This is apartment is excellent - spacious, modern, clean and in a great location. We were met by the owner's husband when we arrived and shown the apartment. We used apartment as a base to explore more if tri-city area - it was near the station at hippodrome which was handy but also close to beaches and centre of Sopot. The apartment was in a quiet area as well so nice to get away from the crowds. Communication between myself and owner was easy and they were flexible with when to arrive at start of stay and when to leave at end of trip
Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and it certainly added to enjoyment of our holiday

  • Five nights me and my family (including my 11-month old son) spent at Agnieszka's apartment were simply great. Don't be sceptical about apartment's pics -- the place looks exactly as it has been depicted, plus it's very spacious. I'd say roughly 65 sq. meters, maybe even more. The apartment is well equipped, WiFi is fast, you don't have to worry about washing powder or dishwasher tablets -- they're ready to use underneath the sink, etc.

One of the previous comments mentioned there was ongoing construction right next to the building and -- as a result -- noise coming form it during the day. This is almost not a case anymore, as the construction has been almost completed. I guess it's only some finishing work that is carried out there during the day.

It's dead quiet at nights, even with windows open. Traffic is not audible as well.

The neighborhood is great, bicycle friendly and calm. 5 mins to the beach, 10-15 to Monte Cassino street. Good both for those who want to stay away from the city center as well as for those who want to party or don't mind the crowd. There are at least three nice restaurants within 5 mins walk.

Recommended all the (website hidden). Great contact with owners, you will never be left off without answer to your phone or airbnb message.

  • Agnieszka's place was beautiful! The apartment was very well furnished and we felt very welcome. There was secure, free parking for our auto. This place is located near a park and is a short walk to the beach along the Baltic Sea! Also, not a bad walk down to Monte Cassino where all the action is at! Our hosts were fantastic! They were flexible with when to meet and also had provided a welcome package of some great refreshments and foods to help us transition in to our stay in Sopot. Our hosts also provided local maps and gave us recommendations on what to do while in Sopot, including the best things to see in Gdansk. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We just need to get back to Poland again! Thanks so much!

  • Good apartment in Sopot. Not so close to Monte Cassino, but a short walk from the beach and the promenade. Big plus - underground parking, which came in very useful during the rain.

The pictures (unusually) are quite accurate and give a good impression of what the apartment is like. Quite roomy, very clean, has all you need for a stay in Sopot. Fast wifi. Good wardrobes and storage space. Niche near the well-equipped kitchen for the foldout bed so the foldouts don't have to sleep in the lounge.

There's a little space for kids in the building's lawn - with a small slide and a couple of other distractions (plus you can meet the neighbors...)

Nice touch was that some basic (and usually a pain to get on your own) stuff was already supplied for us - salt, sugar, flour, oil, coffee, tea, washing powder, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, kitchen roll ... - plus Aga had left us bread, butter, cheese and milk so the fridge would not be empty.

To make this a 5* instead of a 4*, I would add a DVD player, a microwave, a/c and an LCD. But that;s just me....

Unfortunately, there is construction going on outside the building. We were rarely at home during the day and closed doors kept the noise out, but if you are looking to sit on the balcony and enjoy the pastoral scene - that might be a problem.
