This hostel is well-located in Oaxaca and nicely decorated. From the beginning onwards we felt very comfortable and received warm hospitality from all staff members.
Another plus is the bike rental. The first two hours are for free and afterwards a small amount will be charged. It is definitely a good way to explore the city. Moreover, you should not miss the home-made pancakes and eggs a la mexicana.
If you are in Oaxaca, Azil Cielo is the place to be.
I had a very pleasant experience at Azul Cielo, the location was safe and just about a 10 min walk to the city center. The staff was very helpful with information about getting around. The accommodations were very clean and affordable! Great place to stay at if you are on a budget!
Excelente servicio, gran amabilidad por parte de todos, el desayuno muy rico y generoso. Los cuartos privados son como se aprecia en las fotos. Muchas gracias por la atención y la disposición que tuvieron. Los recomiendo amplia-mente.
Everyone at Azul Cielo was very friendly and helpful. They have free bikes to tour the city with. I only spent one night there because I had friends I was meeting up with at another place, already planned. But I will be returning at the end of my trip to stay there.
We spent 2 nights at Azul Cielo and overall we had a nice stay. The hostel is clean, colourful and full of travellers from all over the world. The down sides have been the noise (people are allowed to be noisy till 11pm) and the breakfast, which is very very basic.
the hostel was warm and welcoming. we only stayed for a night but slept well and woke to a little breakfast in the common area which had a lot of heart put into it. would recommend to friends.
