The Space

Come visit the Bywater Neighborhood in New Orleans, from historical shotguns around every corner to live music at Kermit Ruffin's bar - Vaughn's, you will have a blast! Our restored servant quarters offers over 700 sqf. of space and is cozy and close to many restaurants, dive bars, coffee shops, parks, and studios spaces. We offer wireless internet, a fully functioning kitchen, new linens, cable, two new HD 32 inch flat screen, raised cover deck with private back yard, washer & dryer and everything you need to live comfortably. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say so far. This bungalow is close to the Quarter, about 1.2 miles, the perfect afternoon walk. The shotgun and creole houses in the area are anywhere from 100 - 200+ years old and full of charm and history. I would suggest bringing a bike or two or renting them, it is a great way to get around the area. The NOLA bus line runs at end of the street.

Favs in the area: Satsuma - great coffee shop serving breakfast & lunch (try the beat and lime juice). Bachennal wine shop - amazing outdoor wine shop & patio with many cheeses and beers. An outdoor food vendor serves grilled pulled pork, amazing salads, and small plates of all kind. Mimis is a great older dive bar that serves strong ones. Fun place to hang with the neighbors and perfect for late night drinks (in the Marigny). Markys is a great beer dive for the games or just daydreaming, you will never feel alone (off Royal)...the list goes on......
