This elegant portion of Villa has one of the most enchanting views over the Marina Piccola bay and its world famous Faraglioni rocks.
Portion of a huge Villa located in the upper side of Marina Piccola under the Monte Solaro, on the island of Capri. This elegant portion of Villa has one of the most enchanting views over the Marina Piccola bay and its world famous Faraglioni rocks.
Its terraced garden, full of lemon trees, bougainvillea and other typical Mediterranean flora is ideal to relax lying on a comfortable sun chairs away from the busy Capri downtown bustle or enjoying a wonderful coffe overlooking the clear blue sea.
The portion of Villa is on just one level and is composed of three double bedrooms , two large bathroom (one en-suite and one indipendent), a great living room, a well equipped kitchen and and the big terraced garden with solarium, external shower and outside dining area.
There is also a single room with private bathroom on a mezzanine for the housekeeper or babysitter.
The Villa can host from 2 to 9 people in 3 large and comfortable bedrooms plus the single room on the mezzanine. Plus a dependace with private bathroom for 2 add. guests!
To reach this angle of paradise is necessary to face two flight of stairs.
The house is just renovated and has all the comfort you can need to enjoy your holiday in Capri.

The famous "Piazzetta" and the beaches (like the beautiful beach club “La Canzone del Mare”) and restaurants in Marina Piccola, are located within a short walk from the Villa (about a 10-minutes walk or 5-minutes drive).

Davide was a great host. He is very friendly and accompanied us to the Island. Davide was more than happy to sit down with us to share his tips and favorite places and was only a phone-call / sms away if we needed any assistance.
All his recommendations (restaurants, beach clubs etc.) were fantastic and not places you would necessarily find as a tourist. The property itself is very spacious and has an amazing view and terrace.
If you are looking for views, this villa is for you! It had a great outdoor area with nice furniture to enjoy the view. Inside, the villa was well decorated and the 3 double bedrooms all had comfortable beds and doors which opened to the wonderful view. The two downstairs baths were also nice. The "nanny" bedroom is up a set of stairs and has a single bed on a platform. This is also where the 3rd bath is located. If you are planning on using the 3rd bath and nanny's room, please note that it has very low ceilings so a tall person would find this area uncomfortable to use. Like most places in Capri or the Amalfi coast, you will have to walk to get to the villa. From Marina Piccola (the main road), it is a few hundred yards to the villa gate and then 150-200 steps to get to the villa. However, because of this, the villa is very quiet. The walk to Capri takes about 10-15 minutes and part of it is along Marina Piccola which is can be busy and doesn't have a side walk. The things which would keep me from giving the villa the highest rating are as follows...the kitchen needs to be a little better stocked. There were no wine glasses and only 1 semi-sharp knife. We bought a set of cheap wine glasses and cheap serrated knives so it is now a little better stocked than when we arrived. Also, after a couple of people took showers, the hot water would run out. My party of 5 all tried to keep our showers as short as possible to conserve water but still had to stagger showers between the morning and evening to ensure no one had to endure a freezing cold shower.
Our host, Davide, was very responsive during the booking process and answered all my questions promptly regarding the villa during the booking process and to the point we arrived. I would recommend taking his suggestion and using porters to transport the bags to the villa if you have heavy bags (or maybe even if they aren't heavy). You just have to arrange with the porters when your ferry docks. Though handing off the bags to the porters with only the villa name and not an exact address concerned some in my party, the bags arrived about 10 minutes after we did. Davide's associate, Francesca, was waiting for us at the designated spot, walked us to the villa, checked us in and did a thorough job of showing us the villa. Coffee and some snacks were also provided.
In summary, we had a great experience. I would definitely book again and recommend Davide and the villa to others. If the hosts supply 1-2 good sharp knives, more wine glasses, and look at the hot water issue, it would make staying at this villa a 5 star experience.

I am a 45 year old native Naples. I'm an architect and I manage houses and villas for holidays in my area. I like taking advantage of all the city has to offer, explores new places in the neighborhood, attending gallery opens, going to museams, concerts, etc.
I am laid back, down-to-earth, I love the good food, to travel and to swim. I am very helpful and acccomodating to anyone who visits me from out of town, always happy to give them advice about places to see in the city!|
